Left 4 Dead 3 Fans Still Hopeful Turtle Rock Studios Would Change its Mind on Working Again with Valve!

Fans of the multiplayer zombie shooter video game franchise “Left 4 Dead” have been so used to having both Turtle Rock Studios and Valve Corporation collaborating on the first two installments of the game.

A few years ago, Turtle Rock Studios decided to sever its ties with Valve Corporation to be able to focus on other game development projects on its own.

While Valve Corporation is certainly the bigger game development company of the two, many game critics believe that it is Turtle Rock Studios who inputted much into the development of the game. So much so that when Turtle Rock decided to split from Valve and move on to other things, there were speculations that there shall no longer be a “Left 4 Dead 3.”

It is not really difficult to agree with the notion considering that “Left 4 Dead 2” was released way back in 2009 and seven years in game development is already considered an eternity.

However, there have been recent postings coming from the end of Turtle Rock Studios indicating that the company is looking for an animations programmer.

No involvement at all

That had fans of “Left 4 Dead 3” nearly jumping for joy as they began to speculate that Turtle Rock may have agreed to work again with Valve Corporation to be able to work on the third installment of the popular multiplayer zombie shooter video game, notes the Ecumenical News.

However, if it is to be based on the previous statements of Phil Robb, founder of Turtle Rock Studios, it seems unlikely that Turtle Rock would ever join forces again with Valve Corporation.

In an interview last year, Robb said that Turtle Rock Studios is pretty much done with the “Left 4 Dead” franchise. He confirmed that the game is now a Valve’s thing and that they have decided to move on to their own direction.

He also said that if and when he decides to return for “Left 4 Dead 3,” Robb said that he will just come in as a fan and a gamer and not as a developer. Robb also said that he really doubts if people would see anything from them or any kind of involvement at all as far as “Left 4 Dead 3” is concerned.

Fresh material and interesting characters

Reports also have it that Valve Corporation is now working hard on the development of the “Left 4 Dead 3” and that it is looking at coming up with fresh material and new interesting characters for the third installment of the very popular video game franchise.

The speculations over “Left 4 Dead 3” were actually fanned further by former Valve employee Minh Le, who goes by the name of Gooseman. In a previous interview, he confirmed that the game development company is hard at work on “Left 4 Dead 3.”

It is also expected that when the game finally comes out in the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC, it will feature a lot of innovations including better graphics and higher technologies too.

According to reports, after the possible launching of the game at the E3 2016 this coming June, Valve may officially release it to the gaming consoles next year.

In fact, the same reports also cited that Valve has made the development of “Left 4 Dead 3” a top priority over its other popular and highly-anticipated video game title “Half-Life 3.”

Based on previous reports, “Left 4 Dead 3” shall feature new characters including a newcomer hoodlum named Irvin, an ex-flight attendant named Katherine, a Kenpo fighter battle lord known as Garrett Jr., and a comic book geek named Keenan, details Yibada.

The same reports also say that the gameplay shall also increase the number of possible gamers from the previous six to eight.

In addition, there will also be six different campaigns in the game including No Mercy, Early Destination, Impasse, Cliff-Hanger, Crashland, and Inquisitor Land. There is also a possibility that more campaigns will be added to the game through future DLCs.
