‘Left 4 Dead 3’ Could Possibly Launch at E3 2016 If It is Going to Come Out in 2017, Say Critics!

Game developer Valve Corporation has not yet said anything official about its multiplayer zombie shooter game “Left 4 Dead 3” but rumors are swirling wildly that the game could be launched at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center next month.

The launching of “Left 4 Dead 3” at the E3 2016 became a strong possibility since the speculations are rife that the game could be released on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One in 2017.

The rumors have been consistent in saying that “Left 4 Dead 3” shall come out next year to be followed by the horror survival first-person shooter video game “Half-Life 3,” which is the other highly anticipated game in the stable of Valve Corporation, in 2018.

However, since Valve is not saying anything at all regarding the game, all these remain as speculations.

It’s a Valve’s thing now

The rumors about “Left 4 Dead 3” recently heightened with the job posting for a programmer by Turtle Rock Studios on its website.

While it seems rather off that a job requirement for Turtle Rock Studios would be surmised as relevant to “Left 4 Dead 3” since the independent game development company has already parted ways with Valve Corporation late in 2014, many are still holding on to the possibility that the partnership between the two gaming companies may be revived to develop the third installment to the franchise.

It could be recalled that Valve Corporation and Turtle Rock Studios paired up for the development of “Left 4 Dead” and “Left 4 Dead 2.”

But Turtle Rock Studios seems to have quashed those speculations when founder Phil Robb said in a recent interview that their company is pretty much done with the franchise and that it is already a Valve thing right now.

He added that Turtle Rock Studios is now in its own direction and that if they would be coming back to the “Left 4 Dead” franchise, it would be as fans and no longer as developers, details Yibada.

The priority order makes sense

Meanwhile, fans of “Half-Life 3” are a bit disappointed that Valve Corporation is concentrating more on the development of “Left 4 Dead 3” rather than the latest installment of their favorite video game franchise.

Valve’s prioritization is actually based on a solid premise that its online multiplayer games have been reaping big dividends more than its single-player video games. So putting a priority on the development of “Left 4 Dead 3” over “Half-Life 3” makes sense, notes Game N Guide.

Reports also have it that Valve Corporation is now working hard on the development of the “Left 4 Dead 3” and that it is looking at coming up with fresh material and new interesting characters for the third installment of the very popular video game franchise.

The speculations over “Left 4 Dead 3” were actually fanned further by former Valve employee Minh Le, who goes by the name of Gooseman. In a previous interview, he confirmed that the game development company is hard at work on “Left 4 Dead 3.”

It is also expected that when the game finally comes out in the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC, it will feature a lot of innovation including better graphics and higher technologies too.

According to reports, after the possible launching of the game at the E3 2016, Valve may officially release it to the gaming consoles next year.

In fact, the same reports also cited that Valve has made the development of “Left 4 Dead 3” a top priority over its other popular and highly-anticipated video game title “Half-Life 3.”
