Game developer Atlus was a no-show at the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 and fans and gamers who have been waiting for a reveal on the upcoming role-playing game “Persona 5” were disappointed that they got nothing.

Atlus may have thought of making up for disappointing fans and gamers of “Persona 5” that a full-length trailer of the video game was recently leaked in YouTube by YouTuber G onitono, notes Polygon.

The lengthy trailer features additional gameplay and enemies as well as an extended look on the game’s hero and his friends through some new cut scenes.

The leaked footage is actually the second trailer on “Persona 5” as the first was merely an intro to the protagonist and the game’s flashy look.

Coming soon to Japan and North America

While initial reports indicated that “Persona 5” will initially be coming to the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4 in Japan only, it seems like the game shall also be rolling out in North America simultaneous to Japan, reports Youth Health Mag.

Atlus has already confirmed in its website that the fifth installment to the “Persona” franchise will be hitting the Sony gaming consoles later this year in North America as well.

According to John Hardin, PR Manager of Atlus, “Persona 5” is one of the company’s biggest titles so they have to treat it with delicacy and care. While he admits that no one wants to be spoiled or disappointed, they simply cannot launch anything if they don’t have anything ready on “Persona 5” during the E3 2015.

But fans and gamers are expressing notions that Atlus would likely make the major announcement on “Persona 5” at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show slated on September 19 to 20 because the role-playing game is extremely popular in Japan.
