Leak Confirms Apple iOS 8.1.3 Update Release!

Apple has been updating the iOS software for tablets, smartphones and iTouch devices for the last 7 years and according to a source that posted about it online, the latest version is about to be released to users. Apple sells one of the most popular smartphones on the market right now in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and has been at the top of the pile in the smartphone market since the first all touch screen iPhone showed up back in 2007.

As of now, there have been five updates to the latest version of the operating system software and with more people jumping on the Apple bandwagon, the effects of some of the bugs are being heard louder than ever. Even though a video has shown that iOS 8.2 is in development and should be released sometime next year, the current version is still causing issues with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connections and battery issues with users that have iOS 8.1.3 downloaded and installed.

Because the iOS 8.2 version is so far away, the company has decided that they would be able to release a small update that might take care of some of those bugs that are affecting users right now. According to one online source, the update version iOS 8.1.3 is expected to hit more devices over the next few weeks, but right now the hits remain lower than expected. Just a few dozen hits from users that are using an Apple device to view websites have been noted in recent days. There is a clear trend moving up from the new version, but there was a small dip over the last weekend.

Another online source claims that adaption to the iOS 8 software is starting to rise quickly. As more devices are sold during the holidays, that number should continue to trend upwards. According to Apple, the figures for December have reached more than 63%, which is calculated by devices that visit the App Store, and that is up 7% from November. Users that are still on iOS 7 account for just 33 percent of the users and that is down from 40 percent last month.

As you can see, the number of users that is starting to get pushed into the new software is starting to rise, often times that is due to Apple making it harder to stay on older versions. If you are holding an older device, like the iPhone 4 or iPhone 5S, the new software might not be compatible and that is another reason you stay with the software that is currently running the smartphone. In September the iOS 8 powered devices were only accounting for 46 percent of the devices and that was behind the share of devices still on iOS 7.
