Land Rover is quite popular and last year it was all about the Freelander model. Now that the new Land Rover Discovery Sport is about to be released, this week was filled with more people wondering what the price was going to be. According to online sources, the Land Rover Discovery Sport is going to be released on the 1st of May of this year. When it arrives, the prices that were revealed this week are going to be $11,000 more than the Freelander model.
$11,000 might not seem that it is that much to those that are buying a Land Rover to begin with, but that price hike brings the overall price to $53,300 for the mid-size SUV. If you are going to buy the new Land Rover Discovery Sport, the top model is going to be priced at $69,000 for the Sport SD4 HSE Luxury model. The new model is going to exclusively come as an all-wheel drive option with a four-cylinder turbo diesel engine.
The engine is going to be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, but if you would like an automatic transmission, the truck will be paired up with a 9-speed transmission. Just like with most of the vehicles that hit the market today come in more than one trim level. The Land Rover Discovery Sport comes in three different trim level including the SE as the entry-level option, the HSE and the HSE Luxury. The Land Rover Discovery Sport is going to be equipped with plenty of features to make driving even easier.
Some of the features include hill descent control, electronic traction control, dynamic stability control, rear parking sensors and lane departing warning interface. There are more options that you can get on the Land Rover Discovery Sport models that includes 18-inch alloys on the SE model. If you upgrade to the HSE model, you will get front and rear parking sensors, xenon headlights with automatic high beam, 19-inch rims and a sound system with 11-speakers.
The Luxury model comes with larger wheels yet and a stereo system that includes 16-speakers which should be enough to rock the place no matter what you are listening to. The turbo diesel engine is going to get some attention now that fuel prices have started to come down a little over the last few months. The local Land Rover dealerships should be offering the 11 different models of the new Land Rover Discovery Sport and as it was mentioned earlier, the SUV should be on the lot by May 1st.
