NBA superstar Lamar Odom is bent on getting back together again with wife Khloe Kardashian before their divorce is finalized.
Although it is not clear whether the divorce could really be finalized since a court has already given Khloe Kardashian early in the month 45 days within which to decide whether she will go through with the divorce or not.
But up until this day, the reality star of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” has not budge to make any move that would really show that she is serious about divorcing her husband.
Technically, the two are still married although they have not been living together since late in 2013, after cheating allegations against Lamar surfaced. The two have since split.
On December 13, 2014, Khloe marked the first year anniversary of her divorce filing. But since Lamar never showed up during the proceedings necessary to facilitate the divorce, the process hardly moved at all.
Fighting to keep the marriage
Reports have it that Lamar has intentionally made himself scarce during the divorce proceedings because he does not want the divorce to happen at all and really wants to save his marriage by getting back again with his wife.
Fashion N Style reported that Lamar has made use of her daughter Destiny and other members of his family to be able to get in touch with Khloe again and express his feelings over her and their marriage.
A source close to Lamar Odom said that the NBA player wants to take his new round of courtship to Khloe very slowly since he knows how fast her moods can swing. Lamar does not want to say it directly to Khloe and in person as it might spark something inside her which would only exacerbate the situation.
But from the looks of it, it seems that Khloe is just waiting too for Lamar to make the first move. For a number of times already, she has posted a lot of cryptic messages on her Instagram account hinting that she still wants Lamar back in her life.
Of course, she does not want to look as if she is the one asking for him to come back but with the way she has been procrastinating on her decision to go through the divorce process even without Lamar, it really appears that the reality star also wants to save their marriage too.
Lamar’s daughter Destiny reportedly talked to Khloe recently and apologized for her shortcomings and also on behalf of her father. It was not clear what other issues or subject matter that the two of them talked about but from a third person’s perspective, it would appear as it Lamar has already extended an olive branch or a peace offering to Khloe with the hope perhaps of giving their relationship a go for the second time around.
They are still man and wife up until today. And if Lamar wants to make it happen, he has to be the man that he claims he is.
