Pop diva Lady Gaga is not letting up on her efforts to promote body confidence to her fans. Since starting an online movement in 2013 called Body Revolution 2013, Lady Gaga has been using social media to inspire bravery and encourage others to post a photo of themselves that celebrates their triumph over insecurities.
She began the movement by posting an underwear selfie of herself on her Instagram account. The 29-year-old “Bad Romance” singer subsequently posted photos of herself on social media showcasing how well-maintained her body is.
Just last summer, the singer-songwriter nearly dropped the jaws of critics when she posted on social media a photo of herself in sexy black-and-white photo which she captioned as ‘Curvy and Proud,’ details People.
She has also shown off her figure in recent weeks with multiple bikini photos while she was vacationing in the Bahamas.
Stretching exercise
As continuation of Lady Gaga’s efforts to continuously promote body confidence among her fans and supporters, she posted another picture of herself on Instagram on June 22 showing the “Born This Way” singer in her morning exercise routine, complete with some stretching while only on her underwear.
Lady Gaga was shown in the picture lying on her back, looking down towards her legs as she appears to be keeping the band taut with her lower body. Her shirt is also rolled up. She was apparently working out her hips with a pink resistance band in black high-waisted brief and a gray T-shirt.
The pop diva captioned it by saying that she was up early for her hip exercise, explaining further that she has to do the routine everyday to keep her hip strong because if she does not do it she will experience pain.
Back in 2013, she was forced to cancel her world tour after undergoing surgery to repair a labral tear in her right hip.
She said that while she really look thin on the image, she says that it is just brought about by her stretch and nothing more before ending her post with a peace sign emoji.
Lady Gaga is currently on her Cheek to Cheek tour with veteran balladeer Tony Bennett.
Superb performance
In February, aside from drawing a standing ovation from the audience during the Oscars, Lady Gaga’s four-song medley that paid tribute to the 50 years of “The Sound of Music” solicited nothing but praises for the singer from many high-profile celebrities that were in attendance that night.
Lady Gaga received sincere appreciation from the 79-year-old Julie Andrews, the original star of the 50-year-old musical film classic, who said that it really warmed her heart listening to the singer’s moving rendition of the four songs in the movie.

She’s just a show-off who was born with a good shape. If she didn’t have that shape she wouldn’t be doing this. It’s a shallow, self-serving endeavor.
