Lady Gaga has reignited speculations once again that she may be collaborating with Adele for a new song when she posted a selfie photo of the two of them on her Instagram account on January 22.
As early as November of last year, a British newspaper reported that the two singers were working together for a new song, possibly a duet.
Both Lady Gaga and Adele have refused to comment on the report to either confirm or deny it. But the speculation was more than enough to send both of their fans to frenzy and excitement.
Jamming together
The American pop superstar captioned her photo with the British songstress “Nothing like a Wednesday night bro-down with the beautiful Adele,” reports the Daily Mail.
Lady Gaga was also in full make-up and looks super glamorous while Adele is barefaced and smiling broadly in the selfie photo.
It is not clear what Lady Gaga means by bro-down but observers believe that it has something to do with jamming or playing music together.
The picture, posted on Instagram, also showed Adele in all smiles while being close to Lady Gaga in what many were saying as the “Bad Romance” singer’s home in Los Angeles, California.
What gave the notion that the two were doing new music together is the fact that hours before Lady Gaga posted the selfie photo of them together, the “Poker Face” singer also posted another photo of herself lying on a sofa while someone was playing a guitar across her.
It seems that the 28-year-old Lady Gaga is putting some new music together alright. And by topping it off with a picture of her and Adele together, then it is likely that the two of them are really into something.
Good friends
A source close to the American pop star discloses that Adele and Lady Gaga have become good friends that they speak often on the phone. Adele is said to be a fan of Lady Gaga’s voice and she believes that the American pop star is underrated as an actual singer-songwriter.
The source also said that Adele has started work on a perfect piano-led duet, which could be for the two of them. But it’s not clear whether the song that she and Lady Gaga might be doing would be included in her upcoming album, or Lady Gaga’s new album or both. But music fans believe that the possible collaboration between the two will have the potential to be both a hit and a classic.
Lady Gaga is currently busy doing jazz music with Tony Benett while Adele is rumored to be doing the theme song again for the next James Bond movie titled “Spectre.” She also sang the theme for the 2012 Bond film titled “Skyfall.”
