Hollywood’s hot young couple Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have reportedly called it quits after dating for over three years.
Neither Andrew nor Emma nor their respective representatives talked about it in public yet but sources close to the former couple revealed that the lack of time together of the couple has caused the split.
The breakup was attributed to conflicting schedules considering that both Andrew and Emma have been quite busy lately with their respective film assignments, reports KpopStarz.
“The Amaziing Spider-Man” actor was reportedly filming in various countries over the past couple of months so much so that Emma Stone was seen alone most of the time during the awards season.
Emma was nominated as Best Supporting Actress in various award-giving bodies for her role in the critically-acclaimed movie “Birdman.”
The last time that the two were spotted together in public was on January 5 during the appreciation dinner held by Fox Searchlight for “Birdman.” Obviously, their lack of time together has slowly drifted them away from each other that they have decided to end their relationship for good.
Figuring things out
One source said that Andrew and Emma are reportedly taking some time apart to figure things out for themselves. They wanted to know among their respective selves if what they once had is worth saving at all.
Latest reports also indicate that Andrew and Emma have both given up on the thought of compromising their respective careers and filming schedules for the sake of their relationship.
Emma Stone was recently spotted leaving a gym alone, which led many fans to believe that she has already broken up indeed with Andrew and that she was trying to get her mind off him by going to the gym.
Another source said that Andrew and Emma are not calling their split as breakup per se since the problem is just their lack of time together.
Rumored drifting apart
There was already an indication of the rumored drifting apart in the relationship when Emma Stone came to the Academy Awards night in March all by herself, despite earlier reports that she will come with beau Andrew Garfield, who shall be rooting for her.
When she was asked by reporters then after the Oscars why was Andrew nowhere to be found, the pretty actress said that her boyfriend is not really good at socializing with other people and always likes to keep the things between them in private.
About the same time last year, the couple was already planning to marry that is why it came as a big surprise to fans and observers when reports started coming out that they already broke up.
However sources close to the couple said that Andrew and Emma are just having difficulty reconciling their filming schedules. Once Andrew is through doing his latest assignment in May, he would surely find time and woo Emma back again.
