Everyone who knows their DC superheroes is aware that the Man of Steel is the mightiest and strongest of them all. Anybody who pits Superman against any superhero would have the odds on the Man of Steel. He is after all Superman. He has super-strength, he can fly, he has an x-ray vision, he has a freeze breathe, he is faster than a bullet, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, and he’s indestructible too.
Apparently, it is not to be the case in the upcoming movie based on DC Comics “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” showing on worldwide theaters on March 25, 2016, because accordingly the Caped Crusader will handily beat the man from Krypton.
While in DC Comics, Batman beat Superman, fans are interested to see how Director Zack Snyder does it in the film “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
Superman getting beaten by another superhero would be a surprise but considering the official title of the movie, where Batman is ahead of the billing, it seems likely that the Man of Steel will really be at the raw end of the deal
That’s in addition to the fact that Ben Affleck as Batman is the bigger actor when compared to Henry Cavill, who is playing Superman, so it is likely that Affleck will get his taste of seniority in the film.
Notwithstanding the billings for both superheroes and the actors who play them in the movie, it is likely that Batman would get the better of Superman in the upcoming film because he will be using a kryptonite-laced spear against the Man of Steel.
Everyone knows that Superman’s weakness is kryptonite and regardless of how strong and mighty he is, just the mere sight of kryptonite or any material containing kryptonite drains his power and turns him very weak.
How Batman got the spear
iDigital Times reports that Batman added the kryptonite-laced spear to his arsenal against Superman because Bruce Wayne supposedly got the material from Lex Luthor.
Lex Luthor is the arch nemesis of Superman and he knows that in order to defeat the Man of Steel, kryptonite must be used. As to how he got hold of a kryptonite remains to be seen in the movie.
Batman and Superman will initially be at odds in the movie since Batman felt that Superman has took his battles with the Kryptonians on earth and the result was pure chaos and destruction.
According to reports, it was Superman who goes to Gotham City and starts the confrontation with the Dark Knight and the dispute was apparently cleverly set up by Lex Luthor.
Superman shows his strength to Batman when he comes out and pulverized the Batmobile with a mere punch. Eventually, the two superheroes will fight each other out and obviously it will end with both of them agreeing to work together and form the Justice League. But accordingly, after the fight, Batman will point to Superman as the one who started their fight.
The trailer is out
The official trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” was released on May 15 attached to Warner Bros movie “Mad Max: Fury Road.”
Warner Bros apparently wanted the time frame from May 15 onwards all to itself since releasing the trailer earlier, would have it compete for attention and also comparison with Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron” that was shown on May 1.
