After splitting with Robert Pattinson in 2013, Kristin Stewart has remained single. Instead of focusing on rebuilding her love life, she focused instead on being an actress.
Her focus on her acting career has actually paid off as she recently became the first American to win an award – a Best Supporting Actress citation for the film “Clouds of Sils Maria” – at the Cesar Film Awards of France, the equivalent of the Oscars.
KStew reveals that she has not been into a serious relationship after her breakup with Robert Pattinson by choice and not because she is scared to fall in love again and be hurt just like what happened to her.
On the contrary, the “Still Alice” actress says she is willing to go into a relationship again and even go through the same pain and struggles that she has undergone in the past because she feels most fulfilled afterwards.
Not afraid to make herself vulnerable
The 24-year-old Kristen Stewart says that she is not afraid to make herself vulnerable to someone else in the future.
Despite going through a major heartbreak, she says that she can actually welcome another special person in her life.
She admits that she loves putting herself through hell and really experienced the pain. Going through such ordeals makes her feel that she slaughtered herself, and then she finds fulfilment before she eventually realize that it was all worth it
KStew admits that she still knows what she looks for in a guy and she believes that the most attractive thing in a person is his drive which she defines as genuine impulse expressed for the sake of it not for perception.
An intuitive person
The “Twilight” star revealed that she is an intuitive person and she believes she can quickly judge who the right person or people that she should welcome into her life. She says that it is not hard for her to figure out who she likes or who her friends are, based on what she says is her energy meter.
Her being picky with her relationship has actually transcended to her being very discerning in choosing her roles. She says that the more extreme lengths that she had to go to in order to understand her character in a film, the better for her eventually.
She has been very busy doing movies in the past couple of years and she is now looking forward to momentarily stay away from the limelight.
Kristen said that she wants to stay home for a while. She has been very busy filming for two solid years and now she needed time to relax. She says that she needs to breath and do some physical things while on her down time from her acting career.
