Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer Contains Hidden Hints about Upcoming Game!

It’s not rare that a trailer for a popular upcoming game is more than just an advertisement – many developers like to hide various hints about their titles in pre-release videos, teasing fans about what they can expect from the game once it’s out – and the new “Kingdom Hearts” is no exception. The game has had several trailers released for it so far, and those who’ve been paying close attention to the videos might have noticed a few peculiar details about them.

One of the things that was revealed in the trailer, or at least suggested, is that the game will have two important plot lines intertwined. This can be seen in the E3 trailer, which was later revealed to actually be the opening cut scene for the upcoming game. If the events of the trailer are examined more closely, two distinct storylines can be derived – on one hand, we have Goofy, Donald and Sora on their journey to find the seven guardians of light; on the other hand, Mickey and Riku are looking for help in the fight against Master Xehanort.

According to Square Enix, Sora and Riku have been developed quite a lot as characters, and they have each received an entirely new appearance, with new clothes and overall style. This can be seen in the trailers as well, and it definitely does seem that the developers want to advance these characters with the next installment of the game.

It’s also rumored that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be a significantly more massive experience than what the previous games in the series offered, which is partly evidenced by the fact that the game runs on the Unreal Engine 4. This is no lightweight engine, and developers who choose it typically do so because of its powerful capabilities, so it’s been speculated that the new “Kingdom Hearts” could have a much wider and more expansive world than the previous games, featuring more for the players to do and explore.

In addition, the game has been improved in technological terms, and this can be seen from the trailers – but at the same time, Square Enix seem to have done a great job at preserving the game’s genuine art style and direction, and the world of “Kingdom Hearts” hasn’t lost its charm in the slightest, at least from what can be seen in the trailers. Considering how one of the main reasons for the huge popularity of the original games was tied to their artistic presentation exactly, it’s good to see Square Enix realize that fact and are putting effort into preserving the important aspects of the game, while also building on it in other ways (such as the plot).
