‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ to Hit Video Game Shelves on January 2, 2017, Based on an E-mail from Amazon!

Depending on the level of patience of gamers over the highly-anticipated crossover role-playing game “Kingdom Hearts 3,” a rumored release date of the game has come out which could either excite or frustrate them all the more.

Based on a supposed e-mail from Amazon to a user, “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be hitting video gaming shelves on January 2, 2017 and the reason for it was a change in its earlier release schedule.

While game developer Square Enix has not made any announcement about the release date of “Kingdom Hearts 3” in the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, many fans of the franchise were thinking that the game would be released ahead of “Final Fantasy XV,” another highly-anticipated role-playing game from the Square Enix roster.

Latest reports indicate that “Final Fantasy XV” might be released sometime in 2016 so the January 2, 2017 rumored release date for “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be a splash of cold water on gamers who were one with the belief that the game would come out ahead of “Final Fantasy XV.”

But if gamers would take the issue to its brighter side, the early 2017 release would mean good things for the game as Square Enix will still have enough time to polish and finetune the game to near perfection.

What the e-mail said

The user shared the e-mail that he received from Amazon after he followed up his pre-order of “Kingdom Hearts 3.” Amazon first acknowledged the pre-order it received from the user on January 25, 2015, citing the reference number too.

Then it said that the release date for the video game listed below, referring to “Kingdom Hearts 3,” Xbox One version, has been changed by the publisher. It then put the estimated arrival date of the game on January 2, 2017, details Segment Next.

The “Kingdom Hearts 3” listing on Amazon shows a placeholder release date of December 31, 2016, but both Amazon and Square Enix have yet to make an announcement or statement to either confirm or deny this supposed e-mail from Amazon.

Be cautious

A gaming site has cautioned fans and gamers anxiously awaiting “Kingdom Hearts 3” to take the latest report about a supposed e-mail from Amazon allegedly containing the release date of the video game, with a grain of salt.

It reasoned out that it is unlikely for the game publisher to tell Amazon prior to making an official announcement regarding “Kingdom Hearts 3,” notes the Realty Today.

But with “Final Fantasy XV” being released by Square Enix several months ahead of “Kingdom Hearts 3,” fans and gamers of the very popular crossover role-playing game would certainly have lots of things to preoccupy themselves while waiting for the official release date of “Kingdom Hearts 3.”

Meanwhile, Square Enix has decided to quench gamer thirst with the latest offering from the same video game franchise.

However, in order to lessen the anticipation on the third installment of the “Kingdom Hearts” video game franchise, the game developer launched in Japan in September the mobile version of the game officially titled “Kingdom Hearts: Unchained Chi.”

There is still no word yet from the game developer whether it will release the mobile game version of “Kingdom Hearts” to gaming markets outside of Japan although there are reports that the game might also come to the US sometime in the future. However, what Square Enix is certain is that the mobile game brings the previously browser only game to a much better platform.

The game arrived recently to both iOS and Android mobile devices which are meant to scratch the itch of gamers while still waiting for “Kingdom Hearts 3.”

The plot of the mobile game is connected in a way to “Kingdom Hearts 3” but instead of gamers using the characters in the gaming platform, they will actually use their own avatar in the mobile version of the game. But the whole thing in the “Kingdom Hearts: Unchained Chi” takes place before the Keyblade War which means its storyline is even ahead of the first “Kingdom Hearts” video game.
