Over the last few weeks gamers all over the world have been trying to find the release date for the Kingdom Hearts 3 game and were met with bad news everywhere they looked. Recently, a release date was speculated to be coming later this year, but according to a news source that posted this week, that release date might have been pushed to next year. Kingdom Hearts 3 has been confirmed, so there is no doubt it is coming, it is just a matter of nailing down a release date.
The developer for Kingdom Hearts 3, Square Enix, announced details for the new game back in January on Twitter and a it was odd that the release date was not announced at the same time. According to reports, there have been a few reasons for the delay that include the death of a voice actor and a quick switch in the technology surrounding the development of the game.
The switch came into play when the development team moved to using the Unreal Engine and that happened when the game was more than half way done. This creates a major issue when it comes to getting the game completed in a certain number of months. It will take some re-tooling, but the developers are ensuring that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released and better than ever before when it comes to the market. Gamers are really getting anxious for the new game since the last one was released back in 2005.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be the first “main game” since the release of the 2005 release of Kingdom Hearts 2, however there have been a couple of games released in the meantime. The first teaser was released for the new game almost 2 years ago and a that time, it was thought that it would be released in August of this year. Recently, Sony announced that the game will not be released year and that opens up the window for 2016.
Even though it could be an entire year before players get to see the Kingdom Hearts 3 released, it could be earlier in the year which would be better than later in the year. According to one source, Square Enix says that there are shooting for a release date that is in early February 2016. This is good news and more details are supposed to be posted when the E3 conference is over this year.
