The game director admits that it is also impossible for the two games to be released in the same timeframe.
Speaking to IGN, “Kingdom Hearts” series producer Shinji Hashimoto says that both “Kingdom Hearts III” and “Final Fantasy XV” has Tetsuya as their director.
He adds that it’s a difficult job, as they want each game to be perfect in terms of quality so the plan is to focus on one game at a time.
Luckily, now that the latest addition to the “Final Fantasy” franchise is all set, developers can finally focus their efforts on the crossover role-playing game.
The website notes that it’s good to know that Square Enix has a vivid timeline for the game. It gives avid gamers assurance that they will soon be able to play the game.
Meanwhile, another “Kingdom Hearts” title that is expected to make its way before “Kingdom Hearts III” is “Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.”
Square Enix has announced that the game will be making its way to consoles sometime this year. The game was announced to be in development back in 2015.
The collection features an HD remaster of “Dream Drop Distance” as well as “Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover.” It is set to tell that tale of the foretellers and reveal new parts of the series’ history in HD cinematics.
