‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Preorders May Start Next Month Based on Recent Amazon Listing!

Online retail giant Amazon has recently released the list of its upcoming video games for possible release next month on its website and reports have it that the widely-anticipated crossover role-playing game “Kingdom Hearts 3” is on the list.

While the Japanese game developer Square Enix has yet to come out with a statement regarding the official release date of “Kingdom Hearts 3” on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC, previous speculations were saying that the game could either come out late in 2016 or early 2017 at the latest, reports MNR Daily.

So when word suddenly came around about the Amazon listing and that “Kingdom Hearts 3” may possibly launch next month, excited and enthusiastic gamers got thrilled.

However, the more astute gamers believe that the report may be misleading, if not inaccurate since Square Enix has yet to issue an official statement or announcement about the release date of the game.

On the assumption that the Amazon listing on its website is accurate, discerning fans and gamers believe that the inclusion of “Kingdom Hearts 3” for December release could mean that the game would only be made available by the online retail giant for pre-ordering.

Assuming that the pre-ordering of “Kingdom Hearts 3” begins next month, then it is likely that the game would officially come out next year and 2017 will be taken out of the equation.

Ready for pre-ordering in 2016, not 2015

Based on latest reports from gamers who have had the opportunity to check out the Amazon website, “Kingdom Hearts 3” has been put on pre-order option starting December for a retail price of $59.99 for both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

However, those who put the Amazon listing under further scrutiny noted that the item will be released on December 31, 2016, and not on December 31, 2015 because the game is expected to arrive after Christmas.

There was also a note on the pre-order listing that specifically said that customers may have received an email from Amazon stating that the title is scheduled to release on January 2, 2017. In addition, the placeholder release date for the game is December 31, 2016, and January 1, 2017 happens to be the next shipping day after the placeholder date, details the Parent Herald.

The note also said that there is no actual release date that is confirmed for the game as of this time and the site also issued an apology for any confusion that it may have caused gamers and consumers.

Another Disney-themed world in the game

When Square Enix unravelled the gameplay trailer of “Kingdom Hearts 3” during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015, it was clear that the Disney-themed worlds that protagonist Sora will go into with pals Donald Duck and Goofy are that of Rapunzel’s “Tangled” and “Hercules.”

Gamers thought that Square Enix already settled for the two Disney-themed worlds for “Kingdom Hearts 3.” They were wrong as the game developer pulled a surprise and made the announcement during the D23 Expo held at Anaheim, California on August 14 to 16.

Through a concept art, Square Enix showed that the world of “Big Hero 6” will also be integrated into “Kingdom Hearts 3” as Sora is shown riding an armoured Baymax with his Keyblade extended out toward what looks like a dark Baymax.

Astute gamers and “Big Hero 6” fans later on explained that the dark Baymax is the one who was left in the portal when Hiro and his team tried to rescue the professor’s daughter from Yonkai. While the Baymax who is giving a ride to Sora is the new Baymax that Hiro developed using the original chip.
