‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Launching at E3 2016 Not Going to Happen, Says Gaming Enthusiast!

Up to early this month, reports have it that the crossover role-playing game “Kingdom Hearts 3” will finally be unveiled by Japanese game developer Square Enix at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 to be held in Los Angeles next month.

Accordingly, Square Enix shall then prepare for the release of the highly-anticipated game slated for early next year.

However, a new report seems to have shut down notions that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will be launched at E3 2016. The latest word came from Jakejames Lugo, Senior Editor of The Koalition, a group of gaming enthusiasts. He said that previous reports about the “Kingdom Hearts 3” coming out at the E3 2016 is not accurate at all and told fans that they have to wait a little longer before the game is officially unveiled.

Lugo did not say any specific date as to the possible launching of “Kingdom Hearts 3,” which left anxiously waiting fans dismayed. However, he did not dispute the fact that the game would be released to the gaming consoles early next year.

Square Enix has already scheduled a Kingdom Hearts Orchestra world tour from March 10 to June 24 next year, which somehow lends credence to the previous reports that the game would officially make it to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One early next year.

It is no use having a world tour for the game if it has not been released yet on the gaming consoles so it is likely that “Kingdom Hearts 3” would come out before March 10, 2017, notes the Parent Herald.

Among the key cities to be covered by the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra world tour, which seeks to hype up promotion and excitement to “Kingdom Hearts 3,” include Tokyo in Japan, Paris in France, London, Singapore, Shanghai, Los Angeles, and New York.

Concluding an epic saga

A trailer of “Kingdom Hearts 3” was already shown during the E3 2015 as well as a gameplay feature that showed some of the worlds and an interesting conversation between the young Eraqus and Xehanort, cites Neurogadget.

“Kingdom Hearts 3” concludes an epic saga but for gamers who are new to the game, it can be a little daunting alright especially if they see the sheer number of games in the series.

In fact, the “Kingdom Hearts” franchise has been criticized for being spread out across so many different platforms over the years.

The game will be similar to “Kingdom Hearts 2” in terms of gameplay. It shall also have gameplay elements that were used in “Dream Drop Distance.”

Reports also have it that the gameplay includes wall-running, team attacks, and Keyblade transformations. There will be one Keyblade transformation per world, which can be unlocked when the gamer completes all of the missions available in that world.

The game shall also put players against giant bosses, some of which involve special summon attacks in the style of theme park rides.

A mobile game version

Incidentally, Square Enix has recently released “Kingdom Hearts Unchained X, a mobile game available for iOS and Android devices, that is a prequel to the entire Kingdom Hearts saga set before the Keyblade War.

The release of the mobile game from the franchise only heightened speculations that “Kingdom Hearts 3” will soon be coming out on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

There is no PC version that has been announced yet by the game developer for “Kingdom Hearts 3” but if the development of “Final Fantasy XV” on the PC is to be the basis, then it will just be a matter of time when the PC mode of “Kingdom Hearts 3” also comes out.

It was actually Hironori Okayama, producer of “Kingdom Hearts Unchained X” mobile video game who hinted in an interview during the recent PAX East 2016 event that Square Enix might finally announce something about the highly-anticipated “Kingdom Hearts 3” at the E3 2016.
