There are talks about characters from Star Wars and Marvel coming together in for the third installment along with the regular characters. Since the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo the fanfare and excitement surrounding Kingdom Hearts 3 was on the wane, but news about the third installment has picked up the craze among fans.

Rumor has it that Tetsuya Nomura, the game director at Square Enix, has stopped working on Final Fantasy XV so that he can focus on Kingdom Hearts 3. Tai Yasue had revealed that Square Enix is indeed working on Kingdom Hearts 3, and it will have tie-ups with another universe. They have broadened the universe to include characters from Frozen, Marvels and Star Wars.

Iron Man will be making a cameo in the game, so will Darth Vader from the Star Wars universe. When interviewed about the role played by the characters from the other universe, in Kingdom Hearts 3, Tai Yasue was tight-lipped.
