He added that they are now building the resources and the mass elements that go into the game including the mini-games, and other various small items.
The progress in each aspect is very varied because some of them are already polished and very close to their final state while other elements are still in the planning phase. Nomura admitted that he has not laid out the groundwork yet.
Nomura did speak with some certainty as to the Disney-themed worlds “Kingdom Hearts III” won’t contain. He wasn’t able to confirm any new additions beyond the “Tangled” as well as the Olympus Coliseum locales that were shown in “Hercules.”
He said that his two favorite past creations for the game, “The Pride Lands” and “Halloweentown” would not make it into the final game.
Nomura said that Square Enix would rather focus on the featuring new Disney properties rather than ones that have been rendered before. But the statement does not guarantee that films like “Frozen” or “Star Wars” will be used in the role-playing game.
The third iteration of the “Kingdom Hearts” video game franchise shall have the characters and world of “Tangled,” “Hercules,” and now “Big Hero 6” crossing over to the game that features Sora as well as Donald Duck, Goofy, and Mickey Mouse.
Keep kingdom hearts in the PlayStation family
Although I’m not a big fan of “Frozen”, I think that it should be in “Kingdom Hearts 3”; I mean, it would be a good idea to play along in the story line. But “Star Wars is coming out about next year I think, and since the official movie trailer came out, “Disney” wanted to own “Star Wars”. Having said that, if Nomura wanted to wait until Star Wars is owned by “Disney” (at least what I heard) then he is making a mistake. I’m sorry; but fans wouldn’t wait too long. It’s good to hear that KH3 is coming out early next year (I hope).
