Kim Kardashian is going into a new business and it has something to do with the preference of her 22-month-old daughter North West.
Apparently, North has developed a unique fascination over handbags that the “Keeping Up with the Kardashian” reality star decided to go into the business of designing handbags for toddlers.
The reality star is planning to launch sometime next week the Kardashian Kids collection but even before the official roll out of the handbags for kids, Kim is already looking at including more accessories to each of the designs to make the fashion wear stand out.
Kim revealed that her daughter has been showing uncanny interest over handbags, as much as she does on shoes. So the 34-year-old mother was thinking whether to go into the business of designing handbags or designing shoes. She decided on the first one.
Not a fan of headbands
The reality star disclosed that her daughter also likes wearing fancy shoes but does not show so much interest on headbands, which Kim Kardashian also has a good collection of.
The good news for Kim and her rapper-husband Kanye West is that their daughter has developed a unique taste for fashion, so much so that she always pick anything of her preference that has a bit of glitz and glamour to it, which goes with her choice of handbags and also shoes.
Kim narrates that every day after waking up, North always looks to wear shoes. She says that often, she has to convince her daughter to have her diaper changed but not before North gets to wear the shoes she wants to use for the day.
The doting mother also noticed that North is not so much about putting something on her head despite seeing plenty of stuff that her mother uses.
Online retailing
The Kardashian Kids Collection of handbags will be retailed online immediately following its launch on April 13. It will be available on the website Nordstrom.com, with prices of kids handbags ranging from $25 to $35.
Kim said that before deciding on going into the business, she made a lot of research online. She also drew inspiration from her own voluminous wardrobe. As such, the Kardashian Kids Collection features peplum tops, faux leather leggings, and the like.
The reality star told a US magazine in a recent interview that her research showed that the fashion world was missing something. And that is an affordable line of really cute and stylish handbags and other stuff for toddlers and kids, who also exude the fashion senses of their parents.
Both Kim and Kanye are great fans of fashion and they have in fact produced a number of fashion shows recently that also featured Kim’s stepsister and rising model Kendall Jenner.
