The year 2016 is proving to be not a good year for Kim Kardashian. After her Paris ordeal when she was tied up and robbed by armed men in her suite, her husband, Kanye West, was admitted to the hospital after having a breakdown.
Last week, the “Fade” rapper was admitted to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles after he reportedly started behaving erratically while at his personal trainer’s home.
West is currently being treated for a ‘temporary psychosis’ due to sleep deprivation and dehydration. The 39-year-old rapper allegedly acted strange towards his own staff members and tried to attack them.
The health scare came after Kanye canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo Tour following a bizarre 15-minute rant against Beyonce, Jay Z, and Hilary Clinton at a Sacramento concert.
West threw shade at the couple claiming they never showed support when Kim overcame the robbery incident and made somewhat of a recovery at her home. He also said that Beyonce never extended an invite for Saint and North to play with Ivy Blue.
Us Weekly reports that Kardashian has been sleeping close to her husband since last week and helping to feed him while he’s in the hospital. Sources say that Kim has been amazing and appears very tough in front of Kanye and their kids.
The outlet also points out that Kim’s nurturing behavior echoes that of her sister Khloe, who stuck by her ex-husband, Lamar Odom’s side as he recovered from a near-fatal drug overdose last year.
Reports say that the West family spent Thanksgiving at the hospital as Kim never wanted to leave her husband’s side. Kim would not leave Kanye except when she has to go home to see North and Saint.
Sources close to Kanye said that the rapper is starting to get better and is starting to feel more like himself again. The source adds that Kanye is now understanding the importance of resting and getting help.
Jay-Z has reportedly reached out to Kanye West’s team in the hopes of rebuilding his friendship with the “Stronger” rapper regardless of what the rapper told him and his wife.
Hollywood Life reports that neither Beyonce nor Jay-Z, who has been friends with Kanye for almost over a decade now, harbors ill feelings toward the “Heartless” singer.
A representative for the couple said that all they wish for is that Kanye recovers and wishes that he gets better as soon as possible. They also seem to be open to making amends to whatever it is that caused their rift.
Meanwhile, there are reports suggesting that Kanye’s breakdown was brought about by an ongoing feud with his wife over the never-ending renovations at their Bel-Air home.
TMZ reports that the couple has been bickering for months now and that their marriage was already hitting rock bottom. Kim’s Paris robbery was considered a blessing in disguise for their marriage as it put a halt to their arguments.
However, now that the “Keeping up with the Kardashians” star has recovered and started stepping out in public again, despite not yet going back to social media, it looks like the marital arguments have started again.
The Daily Mail reports that Kim used $10 million of her own money to redesign their Bel-Air home, which she purchased with her husband in 2014. Kim was reportedly infuriated that Kanye didn’t add any of his own money into the project but was heavily involved in the planning and remodeling.
