Reality star Kim Kardashian is happy that his stepfather Bruce Jenner has found inner peace after officially announcing his gender transition recently.
While the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star admitted that she does not fully understand the decision of her stepfather about it, she is glad nonetheless to know that Bruce did it while on a better frame of mind, notes MSN Entertainment.
Kim says that she is happy that her stepfather is living the way he wants to live his life because that is the key to finding inner peace and pure happiness in every person’s life.
She adds that the important thing in life is to be sure of what you are and what you really want to achieve regardless of whether people understand your or not.
Kim says that as long as Bruce Jenner is happy with his decision and wants to really live the life however he wants it, she would be happy as well for him and she shall be supportive of him 100%.
Word of caution
However, Kim also advised Bruce Jenner not to disclose too much in the media and the public the details of his gender transition saying that it’s too soon to discuss it in the open.
Bruce Jenner is a former Olympian and during his tell-all interview with TV host Diane Sawyer on April 24, he explained how he agreed to star in a documentary detailing his gender transition.
His three sons Brody, Brandon and Burt were all impressed by their father’s candidness. Kim Kardashian also felt the same way although she believes that her stepfather is risking much of the goodwill directed towards him.
Bruce family is worried that the documentary will de-class what he has accomplished in recent months with his gender transformation. They asked him to stay away, as much as possible, to other interview opportunities so that he can finally complete his transition in private.
Educating the public
The 65-year-old Bruce Jenner believes that his documentary will help educate the public about gender transitioning.
Despite his attempts to ask his children to become part of his documentary, every one of them refused, leaving Bruce feeling hurt somehow.
Bruce separated from Kris Jenner early last year. In September last year, Kris filed the divorce paper in court. The divorce was only finalized early this year.
Despite his upcoming documentary, Bruce is still a regular in the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality show on E! channel.
During his tell-all interview, Bruce also made mention that his decision to transform has nothing to do with him and Kris falling out of love after years of marriage. While it has been rumored previously that Bruce is already seeing another woman when he’s out of the limelight, it was actually the 59-year-old Kris who has a new and very young beau in the person of Cory Gamble, aged 33.
