Kim Kardashian Dishes Her Secret in Losing 60 Pounds After Giving Birth

Just six months after giving birth to her second child named Saint, Kim Kardashian-West admits that there was a time when she felt really uncomfortable with her body.

Speaking to People, Kim admits that she sometimes feels like a mush. She says that there were times she will look in the mirror and admit that she will never bring her pre-Saint body back.

However, thanks to a militant diet and a dedicated exercise plan, the 35-year-old reality star has dropped the 60 pounds she gained during her pregnancy.

Kim has been very vocal before that she had a much more difficult pregnancy with Saint than with North. She also admitted that she’s become much heavier with her pregnancy with Saint.

The Daily Mail reports that Kim really wanted to get back into her cover girl shape. Although she was spotted at Disneyland recently indulging a churro and confessed to eating a slice of cheesecake from time to time, she says that for the most part, she replaces carbs with vegetables.

She’s also closer than ever to her goal now. Kim says that she wanted to get back down to 120 and is currently at 132. The mother of two adds that her butt and hips are the last to go for her weight-loss journey but she’s not stopping.

Mrs. West further adds that anyone who’s had children knows that their body changes and it’s hard to get their body back to shape. It takes so much determination, energy as well as the mental and physical power to do that.

In an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kim admits that everyone has their insecurities, but says she’s very pleased with how far she’s come.

She adds that after having two kids, and being able to get in shape and still feel good about herself, makes her feel at her best.

The reality star has been vocally promoting the Atkins Diet. In fact, she’s also an ambassador for the brand. Kim also shares to her fans through her social media accounts some of her extreme workout sessions.

E! Online reports that the “Selfish” author has 6 AM workout sessions with trainer Don Brooks and eschews pasta and grilled cheese for vegetables and proteins. As a treat, she eats Atkins peanut butter cups.

Earlier this week, Kim’s GQ cover came out where she posed naked with nothing but a leather jacket in front of her.

In the issue, the reality star opens up about her weight loss journey and admits that she was jealous of her friend Chrissy Teigen because she was able to drop her baby weight so fast.

Kim welcomed her second child with rapper Kanye, Saint, last December. Prior to this, the couple also has a daughter, North, born in 2013.

Speaking of North, the little Kardashian-West just turned three years old and Kim couldn’t be more proud as a mom.

Kim took to Instagram and Twitter a video wishing North a happy birthday. The clips feature the mother-daughter duo where Kim says she wants her daughter to stay little forever.

She says that North shouldn’t get any bigger nor taller because she wants her to be her baby forever. To this, the three-year-old replied with the cutest grin from ear to ear.

North and her mom don colorful bathing suits in the video and suggest that the West family went for a vacation on a tropical island for North’s birthday. Kim said through her app that she’s watching the waves, getting tan, and drinking piña coladas.

Kim also took to her app to share a sweet birthday message to the toddler. In fact, before North’s birthday, Kim posted a hilarious photo of her child giving her the major side-eye while soaking up under the sun.
