Emerging supermodel and reality star Kendall Jenner has a critic who thinks that the 21-year-old Estee Lauder model is not really a supermodel.
The comment came from Janice Dickinson, the self-proclaimed world’s first supermodel, who made the statement during an interview at “The Tomorrow Show with Kevin Undergaro” on December 19 at Afterbuzz TV, reports Us Weekly.
The 61-year-old Dickinson also included Kendall’s sister Kim Kardashian in her rant saying that they are not models and is questioning why the sisters are constantly being featured on magazine covers.
Dickinson just married Dr. Robert Gerner almost two weeks ago but she also previously claimed that she had flings with iconic stars including actors Jack Nicholson and Warren Beaty as well as Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger.
However, Dickinson also made it appear that her opinion of Kendall Jenner is nothing personal when she admitted that the young reality star is lovely but not a supermodel material.
A legendary model
Dickinson is a legendary model who has posed for over 30 Vogue covers in her career, reports the Mirror of UK.
She also criticized people for idolizing women like Kendall and said that supermodels used to have to work so much harder during her time compared to what they do now.
Janice also said that Kendall cannot beat her as a supermodel so comparing their accomplishments is like comparing apples and oranges.
She also disclosed that when Kendall’s sister Kim Kardashian made the cover of Vogue, she nearly vomited because she thinks it was crazy. She said that during their time as models, they work on their own merit.
Dickinson summed up her opinion of Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian by saying that they are not models and are basically reality TV stars.
It was the second bash against Kendall Jenner by another legendary supermodel Rebecca Romijn who said that she can’t stand the fact that social media stars are now the supermodels in fashion.
Romijn said that they are not true supermodels but she later on sort of recanted her remarks when Kendall Jenner accused her of cyber-bullying.
It would be interesting to find out if Kendall would also do the same on the latest remarks of Janice Dickinson against her and her sister Kim.
Choosing between two men
Incidentally, Kendall Jenner is rumored to be choosing between NBA star Jordan Clarkson of the Los Angeles Lakers and rapper A$AP Rocky for her next boyfriend. She has been spotted with the two guys in two separate events last month
On November 25, Kendall was spotted having an intimate night out with A$AP Rocky, rocking a super edgy ensemble for their fun-filled rendezvous in West Hollywood.
The 21-year-old reality star also appeared to have gone incognito during the night out as she quietly exited out the back of a restaurant in West Hollywood with A$AP Rocky following her not too far behind.
Kendall was seen covering her face as she ventured towards Serafina’s, rocking a patterned bomber jacket, marijuana leaf socks, and Givenchy flats with mink fur.
A$AP Rocky also took a low-key approach to his attire, clad in an over-sized camouflage jacket. The two were all smiles for their relaxed outing, having gone on several date nights throughout this year, though they both claimed that they are just friends.
Meanwhile, Jordan Clarkson was with Kendall Jenner on November 20 during Drake’s American Music Awards after party.
The two could not keep their hands off each other and sources claim that Kendall and Jordan were really into each other and were not hiding it in public.
A source also said that Jordan had his hand on Kendall’s leg and gave her several kisses on the cheek, adding that the couple was very touchy-feely.
