Kendall Jenner is stepping up her modeling game to a whole new level. The 20-year-old has been revealed as the cover star for the September issue of the US edition of Vogue magazine.
The September edition of the fashion bible is the thickest and is considered to be the most important issue this year as it details the fashion for the coming autumn/winter season.
Previous Vogue September issue cover stars include Beyonce, Kate Moss, and Jennifer Lawrence.
Jenner said that her first Vogue cover made her cry and it’s the coolest thing ever in her life so far.
She also thanked Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour for giving her the honor of appearing on the prestigious annual issue.
In her Instagram post, Jenner went on saying that it was her lifelong dream to grace the cover of this high-profile magazine.
The reality star looked sensational wearing a matador-inspired couture ensemble from Gucci. Jenner rocked a black, gold, and pink open-button top. Kendall completely went braless for the shoot and showed off some major cleavage.
Her cover was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, who have previously shot the likes of Lady Gaga and Rihanna for their Vogue covers.
The issue declares that everyone is now living in ‘Generation K’, a reference to the famous Kardashian-Jenner clan. The magazine’s headlines read “Kendall Jenner: The face that launched a billion likes”
Kendall’s sister, Kim Kardashian controversially appeared on the cover of Vogue in April 2014 with her husband, rapper Kanye West.
Celebrating her first Vogue cover is none other than her popular family. Vogue released a video wherein Kendall was totally ignored by the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan amid her milestone.
In the clip, Kendall jests that she probably should go down the because her family’s probably pissed because they haven’t congratulated her yet.

When Kendall notices Kim and Khloe, they appear to walk past her while on each other’s FaceTime. Jenner then receives a text from Ryan Seacrest to come out of the house.
When she comes out, her whole family had a surprise for her. The Kardashian-Jenner clan, along with Seacrest, prepared balloons and a life-size cover of her Vogue issue to congratulate the model.
Her sisters and her mom also went on Instagram to post Kendall’s Vogue cover and congratulate her on this success.
Inside the issue, the Estee Lauder campaign model spoke of her desire to be a supermodel for a long time after her rise to fame as a reality TV personality.
She reveals that while she’s open to venture other things, she aspires to be Cindy Crawford, who has been in the business for a very long time. Kendall says that she looks up to Crawford a lot and she wants to follow her path.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashian’ star has also opened up about her father’s transition. Kendall says that it was really hard for her to accept it first because she knew how much of a tomboy she was because of her dad.
