Kendall Jenner Gets Temporary Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker; Supermodel Heightens Security as She Fears for Her Life

Kendall Jenner was granted a temporary restraining order against a man who has been chasing her for a long time and on numerous occasions. The man was arrested for confronting Kendall in her new house, Sunday night.

The 20-year-old model filed a restraining order on her alleged stalker, Shavaughn McKenzie. According to TMZ, 25-year-old McKenzie had numerous run-ins with Jenner, especially in her L.A. condo.

Before the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality star moved to her $6.5 million Hollywood Hills mansion in June, he had shown up at her Los Angeles condo several times and attempted to make contact with her.

Kendall recalls that during one incident, the man even ran into traffic while chasing after her vehicle as she drove away from her previous home.

Last Sunday, the brunette beauty just pulled into her new home after having dinner with her friend Tyler and saw Mckenzie again waiting by her gate in the driveway. The stalker was reportedly seated on the curb of her front gate.

McKenzie reportedly followed behind as she pulled through her private gate, Jenner then locked her car doors and called her friend Irving Azoff. That’s when Shavaughn reportedly began banging on her car windows.

Azoff then called the police and went to Kendall’s home to comfort his friend. The police report states that he was asking the model if they could talk which frightened Kendall, who started screaming and calling for help.

The alleged stalker even tried to convince Kendall that he does not have any gun in his hands and raised his hands up in the air to reassure her and ease her panic.

McKenzie was arrested and charged with misdemeanor trespassing and stalking to which he pleaded not guilty to both charges.

McKenzie told the police that he just wanted to have a conversation with the model but everything went wrong. He also admitted that he waited outside Jenner’s apartment in an attempt to talk to her.

He went on saying that every time he tries to talk to Kendall, everything goes wrong and she starts to call the police to push him away.

Daily Mail reports that as per city attorney’s spokesman Frank Mateljan, Mckenzie faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted of either charge. He says that McKenzie’s bail was set at $120,000 and remains in custody.

Records show that the 25-year-old pleaded no contest to a pair of trespassing cases last May. His jail records do not show whether he has an attorney and is due back in court on August 30 at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Court.

The next hearing regarding Jenner’s temporary restraining order against McKenzie will be on September 9 at the Santa Monica Courthouse.

In a statement, the Vogue September cover girl states that Shavaughn’s repeated harassment and stalking has made her fear for her life. Jenner adds that she suffered, and continues to suffer, emotional distress because of this.

The reality star immediately took safety measures and hired extra security. The Estee Lauder campaign model drafted extra guards to patrol the grounds and sit outside her house as per her mother, Kris Jenner’s suggestion.

Kendall apparently isn’t the only Jenner to have a stalker. Her younger sister Kylie also had a man lurking and following her for months.

Kylie also had her stalker arrested because he was sending her gifts that appeared as if he was obsessed with the 19-year-old Lip Kit mogul.

In one episode of their reality show, Kylie’s stalker was mentioned and Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney taught Kylie pranked Kylie in an attempt to teach her a lesson on how to keep her privacy so stalkers won’t be able to locate her instantly.
