Perry will join a slew of other performers including Beyonce, Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, and Carrie Underwood among others.
It would be interesting to see Beyonce in the mix considering that she has just announced last month that she is already pregnant with twins who are to be her second and third child by husband Jay-Z.
Known for her eccentric taste in fashion, the “Smurfs” actress is also venturing into the fashion industry with her latest shoe line.
The “This Is How We Do” songstress has dedicated each shoe in her new footwear line to her favorite women. Her newest foray called The Katy Perry Collections will launch later this month and will offer 40 designs in total.
A sample of her designs is The Hillary, a pink pump with silver stars. There are also shoes named after Lena Dunham and Allison Williams. The Lena will be coming in the form of a sparkly sneaker, while The AW is black with a purple gradient heel.
Perry names The Shannon as her favorite design in the collection, which is named after her good friend Shannon Marie Woodward. Its design looks like a 50’s car complete with a little plastic windshield.
She recently collaborated with CoverGirl cosmetic for a lipstick line of seven shades. The colors were specifically designed by Katy herself and even has her signature purple color.
