One of the reasons why Kate Upton loves her boyfriend Justin Verlander, the pitcher of the Detroit Tigers baseball squad in major league baseball, is because of his soft spot for children.
Justin is probably looking forward to the time when he and Kate will have children of their own in the future. But since they are not there yet, he might as well focus on supporting other causes for children.
Over the weekend, the 32-year-old Justin Verlander supported the auction block of the Diamond Resorts as proceeds of the initiative would go to the Florida Hospital for Children. He posted on his Twitter account that there are plenty of cool stuff from himself in the auction and even put hashtags #bidonme and #itsforthekids to emphasize that it is for a good cause.
He included a photo of himself and a kid who seemed to have bought his No. 35 Detroit Tigers uniform.
Kate Upton obviously appreciated the gesture of her boyfriend on her Twitter account and retweeted it, then posting in jest that she thought that he was selling his stuff for their date. She then put two hashtags on her tweet including #bid and #imwinning, indicating that she is happy with what Justin is doing.
Cover girl yet again
The supermodel-turned-actress is now the cover again of the January 2016 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore.
The 23-year-old stunner is shown in the cover smiling brightly while cuddling with a pair of prized pooches. Notwithstanding her sizzling and very healthy romantic relationship with Justin Verlander, Kate was in high spirits obviously, notes Celebrity-Gossip.net.
She actually posted the cover shot of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore on her Instagram account and added a caption by saying that it is her second cover for the magazine.
She also acknowledged the shot by the lovely photographer Yu Tsai and her makeup by Rachel Goodwin. She also thanked Kennie Boy for facilitating the great photo shoot.
Starting the New Year with a bang
Kate Upton and Justin Verlander started the New Year on a very high note as they kissed on the beach amid fireworks to welcome 2016.
Justin actually posted the photo on his Instagram account showing him and Kate sharing a sweet kiss while on the beach. Both of them were wearing white and the photo was taken with a backdrop of a large firework display that seems to be emanating from the sea.
The post on the photo-sharing app drew nearly 9,000 likes from the followers of the 32-year-old Detroit Tigers pitcher.
Apart from the obvious sparks from the fireworks, a different kind of sparks was also flying between Kate and Justin on the beach.

As for Kate Upon, Sports Illustrated just revealed the 15 times that the supermodel made them totally lose it in 2015.
The 23-year-old supermodel was named Rookie of the Year following her first appearance in 2011 and was the cover model for the 2012 and 2013 issues.
She was also the subject of the 100th anniversary Vanity Fair cover. Kate has also appeared in several commercially successful films including “Tower Heist” in 2011 and “The Other Woman” in 2014. She is set to star in the upcoming film “The Layover” with Alexandra Daddario due to hit theaters this year.
Meanwhile, Kate Upton will soon be joining the cast of the movie titled “The Disaster Artist” starring James Franco, who shall also be directing the film as well.
The movie is about the making of the romantic drama “The Room,” which is regarded as the worst film of all time.
James Franco will produce, direct, and star in the film and he shall take on the role of Tommy Wiseau, the director of the 2003 film, earning for him the reputation as the Disaster Artist, which is the title of the movie.
