Supermodel Kate Upton and his athlete-boyfriend Justin Verlander, pitcher of the Detroit Tigers in Major League Baseball, are reportedly on the way to splitsville.
Reports have it that for the umpteenth time, Justin recently made another marriage proposal to Kate Upton, and just like his previous attempts, the baseball player got rejected by the hot supermodel, regarded today as the ‘sexiest woman alive,” notes KpopStarz.
The two have been dating for almost a year now. Accordingly, Kate Upton rejected Justin’s latest proposal because she is not yet ready to get married. Quoting a report from OK! Magazine, the Sun Times Network said that the couple has been going on for weeks during summer without seeing each other.
The 32-year-old Justin has proposed a number of times to the 22-year-old Kate. In fact he has proposed so many times that he already lost count as to how many times he did it. Observers believe that it would not be surprising to see the couple finally deciding to break up.
Paranoia creeping in
Justin is already getting paranoid because he wanted to secure Kate Upton for life but it seems that the supermodel does not share his idea just yet.
Kate apparently wants to enjoy her popularity and superstardom as her careers in modelling and acting are still skyrocketing at the moment.
A source close to the pitcher said that while Justin understands that Kate’s career is now in the upswing, what he can’t understand is her resistance to the idea of being engaged, which is the reason why he is getting paranoid especially considering that he is often on the road while Kate is out filming somewhere.
The same source added that Justin is getting frustrated with Kate and her constant rejection of his proposal that he is now thinking of calling the relationship off.
The source also added that if Kate keeps dodging Justin’s question, the two may no longer be together come fall this year.

Kate Upton will give up her status as the face of the popular mobile strategy video game “Game of War: Fire Age” and she believes that she is leaving it in good hands.
Reports have it that song diva Mariah Carey will be replacing Kate Upton as the new image model of “Game of War: Fire Age.”
The model only has praises for the 45-year-old singer, citing that Mariah is going to be awesome as the new face of the popular mobile strategy game developed by Machine Zone.
While the game developer did not explain its decision, it has something to do obviously with the cost of maintaining Kate Upton, who is serving as the goddess Athena, for the game.
Still, it is important for the game developer to use a big name celebrity endorser to find new players to the “Game of War: Fire Age” considering that it is tapping into the $30 billion mobile gaming market. The challenge for developers is to keep users playing while getting them to spend money too, notes Venture Beat.
Accordingly, the new commercial for the game will be directed by Alan Taylor, who also helmed the upcoming film “Terminator 5.” It shall also feature the music of Mariah Carey naturally.
While Machine Zone is not saying it directly, it seems like tapping Kate Upton as the face of “Game of War: Fire Age” and the company’s subsequent massive advertising campaign for the video game including the famous Super Bowl ad, has taken its financial toll on the company that now it was reportedly planning to raise $500 million funding.
