Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are continuously killing break-up rumors between them. The lovely pair was once again spotted having dinner with friends at Mozza Restaurant in Los Angeles on October 11.
The couple, who had been dating on and off since 2011, first put to bed split rumors when they were spotted together getting cozy during a date night in Beverly Hills last week. Days later, they were spotted leaving The Nice Guy in Los Angeles together.
In their recent sighting, the 23-year-old model showed her curves in a black and white ensemble. Upton paired her white lace top with white pumps, skinny jeans, and a classic Chanel bag. Justin also went for the casual wear donning a gray checkered shirt, black jeans, and suede boots.
“The Other Woman” actress and her beau were in high spirits that night, smiling and chatting with friends. Verlander was a gentleman, opening the door of the SUV for her ladylove and waiting while she bid goodbye to a pal, Daily Mail reports.
The couple was not new to break-up rumors. In fact, they parted ways just months after they began dating in 2011. Kate even had a short-lived romance with “Dancing with the Stars” pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
At the beginning of 2014, Verlander and Upton rekindled their flame. But this year, many reports came out that their relationship had once again turned sour.
Reports claimed that the 32-year-old baseball pro wanted to settle down with his girlfriend, but the Bobbi Brown model turned down too many proposals already by saying that she is still not ready to be a wife and a mother.
Fueling break-up rumors for the two earlier this year was the fact that until recently, the two have not spent a lot of time with each other. They did not even spend the whole summer together and that the Sports Illustrated cover girl was oddly quiet on social media about their relationship. Kate is usually and very vocal about her relationship with Justin.
Apparently, the two spotted going out again meant that they might have patched things up or they now have the time for themselves after the Detroit Tigers pitcher’s busy schedule for baseball season and Kate’s film and endorsement commitments.
The “Tower Heist” star is set to star in another film, “The Layovers.” She will be joined by Alexandra Daddario, Matt Barr, Kal Penn, Molly Shannon, and William H. Macy. The film revolves around two best friends, played by Upton and Daddario, who go on a tropical vacation to escape their stressful work lives.
However, they get into some complications when they ended up getting to St. Louis instead. A fight between them also ensues when they fell for the same guy they met on a plane. “The Layovers” is expected to hit theaters in 2016.
Kate on a sitcom
Meanwhile, it looks like the sexiest woman alive might just land a role on the American sitcom, “The Big Bang Theory.” ET Online reports that Upton’s name was mentioned during the filming of the latest episode of the CBS sitcom.
Kunal Nayyar, who plays Dr. Raj Koothrappali, confessed that he wants the blonde beauty to be his character’s girlfriend on the show.
This comes after the fourth episode of the long-running comedy show titled “The 2003 Approximation” showed Raj and Simon Helberg’s Howard forming a band they called Footprints on the Moon.
The duo treated their friends and fans to the musical stylings of ‘filk’ music, which as Raj explains to Stewart while in the comic store, is like folk music but with a sci-fi fantasy undertone.
The episode showcased the talents of Nayyar and Helberg with the guitar and the piano. Their characters’ soon-to-be-hit-single “Thor vs Dr. Jones” is hilarious and entertaining.
