Although being the face of this month’s Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, Kate has long stated that she is now focusing all her attention to her acting career.
“The Other Woman” star already has two movies lined up this year. The first is the road trip sex comedy “The Layover” in which she stars alongside Alexandra Daddario.
The film also stars Matt Bar, Matt L. Jones, Rob Corddry, Kal Penn, and Molly Shannon.
In the movie, Upton and Daddario play Meg and Kate, two best friends who decide to take a tropical vacation to escape their stressful lives.
Things take a turn for the worse when a hurricane warning sends their flight to St. Louis and the two of them begin fighting over a guy they met on the plane.
Kate’s next project is a film titled “The Disaster Artist” and will feature an all-star cast including James Franco and his younger brother Dave.
The film will revolve around the character Johnny, a successful banker who lives happily in a San Francisco townhouse with his fiancé, Lisa, who in turn falls for his best friend Mark.
Daily Mail reports that James will apparently helm the film and has already cast his brother Dave, Seth Rogen, and Zac Efron.
