Kate Middleton has been a popular news story for a little more than the last year since marrying Prince Williams, but this week the news was packed full of one little nugget that everyone seems to be sharing. Kate Middleton released the royal family Christmas photos and in them you get to see the very new face of Prince George, who is just turning 16-months old. The Christmas photos were released about 2 weeks before the actual holiday most likely to get the buzz to die down before the long holiday weekend starts.
If you look closely at the photos you can see the resemblance to Prince William in the much smaller and younger Prince George. The round eyes clearly come from Kate Middleton, while the trademark blonde hair is easily from his father. The little tyke can be seen wearing a sweater vest that has the Queen’s Guard design on it, over the top of the white shirt. On the bottom he has dark shorts with knee high socks and black shoes. The backdrop of the photo is clearly someplace at home, outside near a staircase and according to one source, the images were taken late last month.
If you think this picture is adorable, you will be happy to know that next year there will be another cute face to add to the family photos. Kate Middleton recently announced that she is pregnant with the couple’s second child. The royal couple just got home from a trip to the United States, which was the first one since they were married in 2011. The couple met with the president at the White House during the trip that mostly consisted of spending time in New York City. The couple also visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum and the Empire State Building.
The royal couple also made it to a Brooklyn Nets game with Jay Z and Beyonce, which made headlines all over the place as expected. The couple talked about their son’s personality during one interview saying that he is a little bit of a “rascal” comparing Prince George to Prince Williams’s brother.
During the visit to New York City, the couple commented that they can keep his son occupied with iPad games. The Prince thinks that is a good way to teach his son about the inner workings of electronic devices. Most parents these days have their child holding some for of mobile, or electronic device and the reason is to keep the quite and occupied. If the grow a love of electronics, there are few people that will object to that.
