We all know that Kate Middleton knows how to have a child, since Prince George was born a little more than one year ago and now she is expecting the couple’s second child “mid to late April”, according to sources. The official due date looks to be around the 20th of April and that is when the entire earth is going to stop to see what The Duchess of Cambridge is going to bring into the world. There is no surprise that an event like this is planned out so accordingly and weeks in advance.
The Duchess of Cambridge apparently has plans for birth ready at three different locations just in case. When Prince George was born in 2013, the couple had made similar plans at the three locations. Even though there are three locations chosen, the primary location is the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, which happens to be where George was born.
Things like this are kept secret for the most part as it is a high profile couple and even higher profile birth as the world waits to see if it will be the first girl or a second son for the royal couple. If something were to happen, the Royal Berkshire Hospital and the Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge are also on call to be ready to care for The Duchess. The main reason that there are three locations is that there will be a hospital close by that can care for her during the last minutes of her pregnancy.
When Prince George was born in 2013, the media and photographers were allowed to be outside of the hospital for the event, but that is going to change this time around. The circus that came with the birth of Prince George has forced the couple to restrict the access to the media this time. There will be plenty of knowledge of the birth as the hospital’s Twitter and Instgram accounts are likely to be flooded around that time.
A notice will be placed outside of Buckingham Palace for the public to see and read. There is plenty of planning going into something like this, in fact, if the birth comes after the 10 o’clock hour, it will not be officially announced until 8 the next morning. Before the announcement even goes to the press, it will be announced to both families first. If the Kate Middleton pregnancy goes well and she has a daughter, it will be a very exciting time, as the couple already has one son.
