Kate Middleton was thrust into the spotlight with her marriage to Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. Prince William is second in line to succeed his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II as monarch of the United Kingdom.
As you can imagine Kate Middleton has been in the news a lot since the couple has been married in 2011. Kate Middleton alone has had a major impact upon British and American fashion. This impact has been called the “Kate Middleton affect.”
Shortly after her marriage to Prince William, Kate announced she was pregnant in 2012 and gave birth to a baby boy, Prince George of Cambridge, on July 22, 2013. Her son is the third in line of succession to the British throne.
In recent news, however, her second pregnancy has been making headlines, which was announced in September 2014. Knowing she is expecting the birth of her next child next month, Kate Middleton has been winding down her public appearances to prepare for that birth.
What most people do not realize, is that Kate Middleton and Prince William actually split up back in April 2007. The couple decided to break up during a holiday in the Swiss resort of Zermatt. As with many things during the private life, Clarence House, declined to comment on the relationships.
However, that did not stop the newspapers from speculating as to what the reasons were for the breakup. All of the newspaper’s sources were anonymous, which left the speculation to rumors.
When Middleton and her family attended the Concert for Diana, it was noticed that her and Prince William set two rows apart. Shortly after that the couple was seen together in public a couple of different times and news sources quickly stated that the couple had “rekindled their relationship”.
It is quite obvious, the couple reconciled their relationship as they were engaged in October 2010, during a 10 day trip to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. The couple was there to celebrate the fact that Prince William passed his helicopter search and rescue course. The couple was married only one year later.
On Friday, the royal couple was seen in South London to show their support for young people and to see firsthand how charities help and provide services for young children in schools and in the local community.
Kate Middleton has been praised for her great looks, choice of fashion and overall interest in helping other people. The couple was there to two were a couple different charities and see how they actually help when money is donated to them for specific causes.
