Feel Unique have recently commissioned a public poll which asked 2,000 citizens of the UK about their opinion on various celebrities’ taste in fashion over the last year, and it seems like there’s a definite winner. Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambride, ended up on top of the list, beating some serious competitors, including Victoria Beckham (who came second), and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who took the third spot.
Kate Middleton actually managed to beat Emma Watson, who was in the fourth place, something which came as a bit of a shock to most who were waiting for the results to be announced. Emma Watson recently received the British Style Award, presented to her at the British Fashion Awards, and she’s generally known for her exquisite taste, not just in clothing but in her overall appearance and style.
According to commentators on the event, Kate Middleton’s victory isn’t actually that surprising to those who have been following the Duchess’s public presence closely. The people of Britain have been quite interested in her ever since she got engaged to Prince William, and every time she’s made a public appearance, it was always met with strong positive comments by pretty much everyone, with even some fashion critics chiming in to express their approval.
Some of Middleton’s supporters were actually worried that her pregnancy will have a negative impact on her chance for winning, but this doesn’t seem to be the case – if anything, people have been commending the Duchess for managing to retain her elegance despite her belly growing bigger and bigger by the day.
The Duchess was recently noted with a stylish tan coat that she wore for Christmas, which various fashion outlets have been commenting on. The coat was styled in a military fashion, with golden buttons and a matching brown hat. And while Kate Middleton definitely looked as stylish as ever, some noted that her choice of clothing didn’t exactly speak of Christmas cheer. However, not everyone likes to dress in a flashy and extravagant way for the Christmas season, and Kate Middleton is exactly a person who knows how to handle her choice of clothing.
And while she was asked about her clothes by some members of the press, she didn’t seem too interested in answering those particular questions, and went on to describe why her first-born, Prince George, wasn’t present at the event. According to her, the baby would have been too loud for a church attendance, and the couple had decided to instead make their appearance alone, or at least accompanied by other members of the Royal family, including the Queen herself, as well as Prince Phillip and Prince Harry.
