Kanye West Makes a Fool of Himself at the Grammys to Redeem Himself of His Infamous Diss of Taylor Swift, And More!

For a brief moment during the 57th Annual Grammy Awards held on February 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, rapper Kanye West made a fool of himself when he went up the stage only to go back down a short while later.

Apparently, Kim Kardashian’s husband has developed a sense of humor and has used it to redeem himself from his infamous diss of Taylor Swift back in 2009 during the MTV Video Music Awards, recalls Yahoo! Celebrity.

In 2009, Kanye hogged both the limelight and the headlines when he stormed on stage as Taylor Swift was making her acceptance speech for her Best Female Video award at the MTV Video Music Awards. The rapper stopped short Taylor Swift’s big moment and stole the mic from the “Shake It Off” singer.

What’s worse, he even said that he was happy for Taylor Swift for winning the award and that he would allow her to finish her speech. But he added that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.

Those action and remarks by Kanye West drew lots of flak and boos from the crowd even as Beyonce was shocked and surprised with what the rapper has done and said on stage.

That made Kanye a villain among the music celebrities, which was also mentioned by Katy Perry during her recent interview after her remarkable halftime performance at the Super Bowl 2015 on February 1.

Forgiven and putting everything behind

Because of the bashing that he got in the internet, there was no other recourse for Kanye West but to issue an apology to Taylor Swift and her fans for his uncalled for act on the stage.

He did not just made one apology but made multiple apologies to the “Blank Space” singer.

It appears that everybody has moved on from that infamous incident in 2009 as Kanye West even attempted to make a repeat of his stage performance back then during the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.

When Beck was awarded with Album of the Year, beating out Beyonce and Sam Smith, Kanye West attempted to redo his infamous Taylor Swift moment back in 2009.

While Beck was making his way to the microphone, Kanye once again rushed to the stage. But unlike in 2009 when he completely took over the mic from Taylor Swift, he stopped short this time, shook his head and laughed, before going back down to his seat again.

That drew laughter from the crowd who understood what Kanye was mimicking, which no other but himself.

Taylor Swift was also present during the Grammys and he was seen with Kanye West all too comfortable and cozying up with one another during a commercial break, indicating that the “1989” singer has already put the 2009 incident at the MTV Video Music Awards behind her and moved on.
