Pattie Mallette has always been supportive of his son and the two have been super close. But now, they apparently become shockingly distant. The “Confident” singer sadly admits that the gap between him and his mom was all his fault.
Justin confesses that he became distant because he was ashamed of what was happening with his life and never wanted his mom to be disappointed in him.
He recalled that they spent a lot of time not having any conversations at all and that kind of gap usually takes a lot of time to rebuild trust in the middle.
The 39-year-old Mallette was the greatest driving force behind Justin’s success, nurturing his love of music at a very young age and entering him in singing contests which led to Bieber crossing paths with his manager, Scooter Braun.
