Justin Bieber Opens Up About his Family, Fame, and Selena Gomez!

Justin Bieber has finally seen a rebirth. That is what Billboard Magazine suggests on its latest issue, which came out on November 5, featuring the pop star.

The 21-year-old singer gets candid and reveals personal details about his family, religion, his upcoming album, and his relationships.

Bieber seems to be setting things right in his life right now after going through a difficult ordeal. In the Billboard cover story, the “What Do You Mean” singer admitted that he almost succumbed to the pitfalls of fame.

Justin says that being famous isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. The singer admitted to struggling with his reputation.

He reveals that his popularity apparently has left a huge dent on his personality as certain things and situations broke his trust with people. He then felt like he was being judged all the time.

The “Baby” singer aligned himself to Kylie Jenner, who’s probably receiving the same amount of fame and spotlight as him.

He says that being a child star like Kylie is probably the toughest thing in the world. The pop star says that Kylie grew up with cameras watching her every move and that affects how she thinks and perceives people. He adds that he wants people to be kinder to young celebrities.

The “Never Say Never” crooner confesses that he was so close to letting his fame destroy him, but he managed to come out alive. Although he still continues to be battling within the walls of it.

Since his popularity skyrocketed in 2010, the Canadian native has had his fair share of controversies and legal problems. Five years into the spotlight, Justin tells Billboard that he now wants to veer away from the self-centered attitude.

The “Boyfriend” hitmaker says he is now focused on the people who have been there since the start and those that stuck with him during the chaotic moments of his life.

Right now, Bieber is directing all his attention on the forthcoming release of his fourth studio album “Purpose” scheduled for a November 13 release. This is the singer’s follow-up album to his third studio album “Believe” released in 2012.

Justin admits that he is nervous on the feedback about his 19-track album, which features guest artists Ariana Grande and Skrillex.

Although it seems like he doesn’t need to worry about reception as the initial release of the album’s tracks were obviously well-received.

The first track from the album “What Do You Mean” was released in August and became No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US.

The second single “Sorry” was released last month and peaked at No. 2 in the US and Canadian music charts. The first promotional single in the album “I’ll Show You” was released on November 2.

On the evolution of his music, Bieber tells Billboard that it’s difficult to make meaningful songs that make you want to dance because it can come off cheesy.

He admits recording songs that he won’t listen to and cites “Purpose” as a self-expressing album because he wants his music to inspire people.

By self-expression, Justin pertains to the happy and dark moments in his life. He refers to the closest people in his life including his parents and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Justin and Selena were in a relationship since December 2010. The on-again, off-again couple finally called it quits late last year.

On Selena, the “Baby” singer says that he is proud of the woman she is today and says that he will forever love her.

Interestingly, Bieber has yet to hear his ex-girlfriend’s latest album because he knows he had a role on that one. He admits that he is not yet ready to hear what she has to say about him through her songs.

Selena Gomez released her second studio album “Revival” early last month and it featured tracks such as “Good For You” and “Same Old Love.”
