It was just late last month when former sweethearts Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were almost getting at each other’s throats in social media that began when the 23-year-old songstress made an unsolicited comment for the “Sorry” singer’s post featuring himself and his then 18-year-old girlfriend Sofia Richie.
That started a social media spat between the former lovers and also forcing Justin Bieber to momentarily deactivate his Twitter account.
It was also after their recent public outburst that Selena Gomez announced that she is taking a break off from her concert tour and also from all the tension brought about by her social media tussle with her former boyfriend.
But some critics have said back then that the only reason why Selena Gomez was mad at Justin Bieber was because he was brandishing his girlfriend when the “Good For You” singer does not have a romantic someone in her life at the moment.
And whenever it is Selena Gomez who is dating someone and Justin Bieber is not dating anybody at all, he is the one getting piqued with all the sweet images of Selena and whoever she is going out with at that time.
It seems clear that the two are playing each other for a fool but in truth, they have real feelings for one another, opine many critics.
Relationship is over
In fact, there were some people who said that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez may actually end up together in the end.
Selena Gomez just got mad with Justin last month because he told her that she has never felt something before for a girl like he did with Sofia Richie since they broke up. It certainly floored Selena because it was really a tough statement to swallow coming from a former flame.
Apparently, the Biebs has spoken too soon because latest reports have it that he and Sofia Richie have already broken up until only six weeks of dating, reports People.
According to a source close to Justin Bieber, the relationship with Sofia Richie had its fair share of drama but it was not clear if Selena Gomez is part of the equation or was mentioned in the drama.
Last month, Sofia Richie said in an interview that she and Justin have a special relationship because the “I’ll Show You” singer is very easy to talk to, which she says is so hard to find among people in Los Angeles.
The same source has also disclosed that Sofia Richie is the one who is head over heels in love with Justin Bieber but the pop singer is apparently not yet ready to get serious with her, resulting in the split.
Virtually impossible for Justin to settle down
In a recent interview, Selena Gomez said that while plenty of girls would go crazy over Justin Bieber, she believes that the “Purpose” singer would not be settling down.
She added that it would be virtually impossible for the Biebs to last with any of the girls given where he is at in his life and career, notes Life & Style magazine.
Late last month, Selena Gomez revealed that she was taking time off in the music industry to help address her depression, anxiety, and panic attacks reportedly because of her auto-immune disease lupus.
However, some critics and fans believe that her decision was prompted by her immense jealousy over former boyfriend Justin Bieber whose relationship with 18-year-old Sofia Richie appears to be heading towards the level of serious then.
The most followed singer on Instagram says that the pressure has finally taken a toll on her after rounds of concert tours following the launch of her latest album “Revival” late last year.
She said that she will attempt at decompressing with her family and loved ones and might even seek professional help for the things that causes her depression, anxiety, and panic attacks.
Interestingly, it was after her social media outburst at Justin Bieber late last month when she supposedly started suffering from anxiety and panic attacks.
