Justin Bieber nearly had a run-in with a possible shark while night swimming in an Australian beach on July 1. Because it was dark and the water was freezing cold, the 21-year-old “Baby” singer said that he saw a fin that freaked him out that he had to come out of the water really fast.
The male heartthrob is currently in Australia for the five-day Hillsong convention and he just decided to go for a swim on the night of July 1 during his free time, reports Hollywood Life.
During a subsequent Q&A session with fans at the Hillsong parking lot, he detailed that it was cold and dark alright, but he was pretty sure that it was a fin, possibly of a shark, that he saw in the water. He said that that was not the cool part of his swim because it really scared him.
Justin has all the right reasons to be scared especially in light of recent shark attacks reported in North Carolina and other shark sightings on the East Coast of the US. It is always better to be on the safe side and be accused of imagining things than be sorry and that’s what most fans of the Biebs say too.
Getting cozy with fans
After coming out of his swim, Justin Bieber actually spent a bit of time on the Hillsong parking lot to respond to fan queries.
One of the female fans, however, has other things in her mind when he asked the singer impromptu how hard are his nipples. Shocked by the question, Justin Bieber paused for a brief moment before pointing at another fan for the next question, details the Daily Mail.
Asked by another fan if he plans to return to Perth, he said that he would be heading to Western Australia in his next world tour.
The singer also hinted about the release of possible new music in two to three months time. He also made the perfect tease when he released a video recently of his song “Where Are U Now,” which fans notice has many references to his ex, the 22-year-old Selena Gomez.
The video shows Justin standing in front of walls covered with graffiti with messages like ‘I miss you, Selena,,’ and ‘Where r u now Selena?’ as well as a drawing of Jelena 5ever’ crossed out with a big pink X.
Justin said that the graffiti were made by fans, but he was not clear about his intention in filming the walls and including it on his new video.
It’s also not clear how Selena Gomez would react upon seeing the video because it seems to send some signals to her. But according to latest reports, Selena has not been reading too much on Justin’s plans because she’s no longer sure whether he is just taking her for a ride again or he has completely reformed for her.
Rekindling romance
Fans of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have expressed their excitement over the prospect of the two celebrities getting back together again. But the two stars have kept mum about the real score between them.
Their names became another hot item last month when a Canadian court found Justin Bieber guilty of careless driving for an incident in August last year and was fined $750 for it.
The news actually came out with photos of Justin and Selena together in Canada because the 22-year-old “Come and Get It” songstress was with the 21-year-old “Baby” singer when the careless driving incident happened last year. That turned off Selena a bit as she thinks some news entities take old news and freezes it like it’s now.
She also posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account last week saying that she has been keeping so many secrets all her life and that she finally wants to claim her name.
