Justin Bieber Denies Dissing the Late Great Prince on Social Media, More Details!

Justin Bieber is not about to say “Sorry” for something he has not done. After a supposed comment coming from the “What Do You Mean” singer was made on the Instagram post of Andrew Watt paying tribute to the iconic music artist Prince as one of the last greatest living performers, grieving fans all over the world started ganging up on the Biebs, citing him as disrespectful.

Apparently, the comment that supposed to have come from Justin Bieber criticized Andrew Watt’s post by citing that Prince was no longer the last greatest living performer, emphasizing perhaps on the word living.

The comment certainly angered fans of the great music artist and they all zeroed in on the 22-year-old singer for his insensitive remark.

However, representatives of Justin Bieber immediately came out to say that it was not the “I’ll Show You” singer who made the remark and that it came from a fake Instagram account.

True enough, the comment on Andrew Watt’s post was immediately deleted shortly after it created an uproar in social media.

His representative said that Justin Bieber has not made any official comment or statement regarding the death of Prince in his official social media channels, reports Billboard.

A flippant and self-aggrandizing comment

Critics view the Instagram comment from the supposed Justin Bieber as flippant and self-aggrandizing, which was a slight that angered grieving fans of Prince worldwide, cites the New York Daily News.

A representative of the singer also said that base on the initial investigation made by a gossip debunking site, the comment actually originated from a fabricated account, although it made it appear that it came from the popular Twitter account Shady Music Facts.

Some of the fans of Prince scolded the supposed Bieber and called him as disrespectful and selfish.

The “Purpose” singer has not addressed the outrage surrounding his alleged comment against Prince. Most of his posts on his social media accounts were about his continued promotion for his “Purpose” world tour.

The 57-year-old iconic music artist Prince was found dead on the morning of April 20 inside his recording studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota. His death has prompted an outpouring of social media tributes from fellow great musicians including Madonna, Elton John, Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney and a whole lot more.

Getting the raw end of a joke

Getting the repercussions of the raw end of an obvious prank from the supposed comment on Prince, Justin Bieber also got the raw end of a joke last month from upstart musician Charlie Puth.

Puth may be one of the upcoming musicians of today but critics felt that he went overboard when he dissed in his concert on March 11 Grammy-winner Justin Bieber by giving him the ‘F’ word.

Apparently, it has something to do with what Selena Gomez had told Charlie Puth when they recorded the song “We Don’t Talk Anymore” recently.

So while Charlie was performing in his concert and sang “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” all the things that Selena told him about Justin came back to him at that point and prompted him to say the ‘F’ word against the Biebs.

He may have been the bad guy in his failed relationship with Selena but Charlie has no right to judge Justin over an issue where the other side had not been heard yet.

A source said that “We Don’t Talk Anymore” is a song that Charlie wrote but it was not about Selena and Justin’s relationship. However, after he talked to her about appearing on the song and the stories Selena told him about Justin, it dawned upon him that the song fit perfectly.

Since then, Charlie has been saying that the song is basically about the ill-fated relationship of Justin and Selena. In fact, the dress line in the duet is a reference to the “Good For You” song of Selena.
