Justice League Reworked to Make the Superheroes More Appealing, Cast Members Join Environmental Cause

While DC Comic cannot be as light as Marvel and Fox, they are trying their best to reach out to a broader audience.

With a large number of series on CW being based on DC Comic, there is hope that the upcoming films from the universe will hit the right mark.

The decision to build the Dakota Access Pipeline had met with a lot of protests and now even the cast members of Justice League have joined the cause. Mark Ruffalo, who plays Hulk, expressed his gratitude to Ben Affleck and the rest of the cast of Justice League who united against the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Ruffalo is an activist and has been a supporter for Bernie Sanders for a while now. The decision to build the pipeline had been announced in 2014, but it was in the past few weeks that the protest about the decision had entered the public sphere.

Environmental activists and tribal leaders have come out to call for the necessity to keep the fossil fuels in the ground. The protest against the Dakota Pipeline Access is a natural partnership. The pipeline threatened the Federal Tribal territory and with Jason Momoa being a Native American from his mother’s side, the Justice League cast decided to join the protest.
