‘Justice League’ May Become Way Too Big an Ensemble Superhero Film for its Own Good, Opine Critics

In a recent interview, Ben Affleck confirmed that his Batman in “Justice League” will reveal that he does have a sense of humor during the movie.

The first trailer of “Justice League” shown in July during the San Diego ComicCon seemed to confirm that, with the mildly funny quote “I hear you can talk to fish” line which he says to Aquaman plus a bit of bantz with Wonder Woman.

It still not in the caliber of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and Iron Man humor but it’s certainly a lot better than the already poker-faced and very straight Batman or the seemingly depressed portrayal of Henry Cavill as Superman in “Man of Steel.”

Even Superman during the time of the late Christopher Reeves had a sense of humor and it is just unfortunate that Director Zack Snyder has made things very serious with the films based on DC Comics.

There are reports going around saying that “Justice League” will be less Snyder-y to clarify that there will be less rage on the upcoming DC film.

DC Comics writer Geoff Johns has recently stated that the film will feature fewer of the controversial flourishes that dogged “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
