Just Cause 3 to Come with even more Explosions, Dramatic Action and Craziness!

“Just Cause” is a special name to many gamers. The two games in the series are quite unique, and even though they share some similarities with “Grant Theft Auto” and “Far Cry”, they have a very distinct gameplay that has been enjoyed by players for a long time. It’s all about chaos and massive destruction, and it’s the kind of game that just lets its players go loose for a few hours and have some pure fun.

It’s no wonder that “Just Cause 3” is enjoying so much attention from players before it’s even released, and the game is shaping up to be a very important release in the industry. From what we’ve been able to tell, the developers plan to ramp up pretty much everything that made the originals so good and popular, especially “Just Cause 2”.

Avalanche Games have also been somewhat vocal about their progress on the title, sharing some updates as they’ve been working on new additions to it. And one of their most recent statements clearly shows that they know their audience very well – the developers specifically talked about how they’re giving their chances lots of different options for blowing things up.

According to the information from the dev diary post, they’re trying to make as much use as possible of modern hardware, coming up with creative ways to utilize all that processing power to deliver more realistic, breathtaking explosions, and they’ve been putting a lot of attention into making the game feel exciting.

Which is definitely good, because this is exactly what fans of the franchise wanted to see from the sequel – more of the same, with the occasional minor new additions here and there. But if Avalanche produce a game that just gives players the ability to blow everything up in many different creative ways, the title is going to be good enough for pretty much all of its fans.

There have also been rumors that the new game is going to support much more advanced modding capabilities, although details on that are not quite clear yet. It should be noted that “Just Cause 2” rose to prominence partly because of its modders – the game was already popular on its own, but once players came up with a mod that implemented actual multiplayer, things changed significantly. That was the true explosion in popularity for this title, and it was the moment when we saw the game truly get shot into the spotlights, with various news publications talking about the features of the mod.

And while players were hoping that the new game will launch with multiplayer support out of the box this time, this apparently won’t be the case – the latest official statement we heard about that was that the feature won’t make it into the game for the initial release, but could be added later on.

However, there’s something fishy going on behind the scenes in this regard – the developers also said that it “makes a lot of sense” to release the game like that, so maybe they have some interesting plans that the community isn’t aware of.

Perhaps “Just Cause 3” is going to introduce an even more comprehensive modding API that will make the addition of multiplayer much easier and more straightforward than it was in the previous game. Because in the end, it’s definitely true that the title could use some improvement in this regard.
