If you are old enough to remember Jurassic Park, which first opened back in 1993, then you are just as excited as everyone else to see what Jurassic World will have to offer when it is released. The trailer for the movie was released less than two weeks ago and has already passed the 40 million views mark on YouTube. That does not include all of the other places that you can see it. The new movie, which is going to be the fourth installment to the Jurassic Park series, is expected to be released sometime next year.
The first promo clip for the new movie was only 20 seconds long and that only got the buzz going a lot louder. Two days later, the full length promo was released and now there is a long line of Jurassic Park fans that cannot wait to see the new movie. The first movie was released back in 1993 and won three Oscars in 1994. The second movie was released in 1997, while the third one came along in 2001. The second and third movies were not quite as popular as the original, which is usually the case with sequel to big hit movies.
It might seem odd to have such a gap between the third and fourth movies, but according to one source, Jurassic World was supposed to open in theaters in 2005, but that was pushed back as the script was changed and cast members were moved around. This movie is going to be set just 22 years after the first Jurassic Park took place and involves a fully functional theme park called Jurassic World.
The theme park is starting to see visitors decline and thinks that a new attraction will help to bring them back. A new dinosaur is created and shortly after that the troubles start as you can probably imagine. Jurassic WOrld will star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson and Judy Greer as the main cast. The movie will be directed by Colin Trevorrow, who is known for the 2012 movie “Safety Not Guaranteed”.
Since the original movie was so long ago, it might be difficult for young movie goer’s to get into this movie. Unless they have watched the first three, they would be lost as to what might be happening. According to some sources, based on the trailer, this movie looks a lot like the original. That would make sense because it appears the same thing is happening with out of control dinosaurs and characters running for their lives.
