Jurassic World 2 to Have a Darker Tone, Possibly Alluding to Real-Life Issues!

When “Jurassic World” came out, many fans of the original franchise were skeptical towards the film and were not sure what to expect. However, it managed to please most of its viewers and critics, and currently it enjoys a pretty solid reputation and a good spot in the history of the series as a whole.

Now, a lot of attention is focused on “Jurassic World 2”, and it seems like the more skeptically-minded fans are a bit more easy-going now, and are more willing to accept the new film. We’ve been hearing some interesting reports about “Jurassic World 2” as well, painting the production in a peculiar light.

It seems like one of the main ideas that will be explored in “Jurassic World 2” would be to make the overall tone and setting of the film darker and a bit more serious, while also bringing more tension and suspense. Those who loved the horror aspect of the first “Jurassic World” – and the original films before it – should be in for a nice surprise once this one comes out.

There are also rumors that the producers might be trying to draw parallels to some of the current problems in our world, such as the poor treatment of animals in some places and industries. The dinosaurs could be used as a symbolic element to this end, and it would be interesting to see if the producers could raise some extra awareness about those issues if the film is successful enough.

A lot is being kept secret about the new film, even though reports indicate that the producers have actually figured out many important parts of the plot and setting. They apparently don’t want to risk spoiling anything before the film arrives to the screen, which is why they are taking a very careful, calculated approach in their public statements.

For example, we’re yet to find out what the film will be even called, and all we know for now is the tentative “Jurassic World 2”. A few other details have surfaced as well, but for the most part, fans have been left to guess.

One interesting detail which we’ve seen touched by Colin Trevorrow is the issue with the ages of the original film’s fans. The producers are apparently going to try and keep up with those changes, which has been one of the reasons behind the decision to make the new film slightly more serious and darker.

On the other hand, they’re obviously also going to want to bring in new viewers, so it would be interesting to see how it all plays out. We’ve seen a similar problem come up in other productions in the past, and studios tend to resolve it one way or the other in the end, so we trust that the people behind “Jurassic World 2” will manage to make their work attractive to not only their original audience, but new fans as well.

Jurassic World 2

Meanwhile, discussions among fans of the “Jurassic” franchise have been mostly focused on the actual dinosaurs that we may see in the new film, probably to nobody’s real surprise. A lot was said about the creatures while the first “Jurassic World” was in production, and it seems like there will be just as much effort to make them convincing this time, if not even more.
