‘Jurassic World 2’ to Feature New Breed of Dinosaurs from the Dinosaur Embryos that Dr. Wu Stole Before Escaping Isla Nublar!

When “Jurassic World” turned out to become the third all-time highest grossing movie in the world after the film was shown in June of last year, its sequel has become imminent.

“Jurassic World” was actually a continuation of the dinosaur plotline that began in 1993 with “Jurassic Park” helmed by critically-acclaimed director and producer Steven Spielberg. As a matter of fact, there were even scenes in “Jurassic World” that reminded viewers of the things they saw in “Jurassic Park.”

What came next in the rumor mills are the possible plotlines for “Jurassic World 2.” Based on the events that transpired in “Jurassic World,” Isla Nublar, the setting of the dinosaur park, shall never be the same again.

While there were still dinosaurs freely roaming around the park, the stigma of the catastrophe that happened will turn it into another lost and forgotten Jurassic Park. If ever, only the group of Owen, played by Chris Platt, and Claire, played by Bryce Dallas Howard, will remain to fix the mess up.

But restoring the park to its old self before the chaos will no longer be possible. Thus, speculations are rife in saying that the sequel shall no longer have the setting of Isla Nublar but outside of it.

More vicious dinosaurs in the sequel

It seems that the rumors are on target as far as plotline is concerned because reports have it that the upcoming movie shall feature Dr. Henry Wu, played by B.D. Wong, creating a new breed of dinosaurs from the dinosaur embryos that he stole when he escaped Isla Nublar, reports the Ecumenical News.

It can be recalled that it was the Indominus rex, a genetically-engineered dinosaur, which started the chaos when it escaped its holding cell using its intelligence, unleashing a trail of destruction and viciousness until it was finally contained in the end as it was eaten by the dinosaur from the water.

What Dr. Wu has are embryos of more genetically-engineered dinosaurs which mean that there would be more vicious creatures in “Jurassic World 2” that Owen would contend with. Owen is sure to be there as Chris Platt has already been confirmed to reprise his role barely weeks after the release of “Jurassic World” to theaters last year.

Incidentally, filming for “Jurassic World 2” will start in Hawaii in November which is just about right since the movie is slated to hit global theaters on June 22, 2018.

The production team is reportedly now searching for possible locations in Hawaii which shall serve as the backdrop for the sequel to the 2015 hit movie.

Crime-fighting dinosaurs?

There are also absurd rumors saying that “Jurassic World 2” shall feature crime-fighting dinosaurs and also domesticated dinosaurs.

Some fans and critics find the speculations not only illogical but also funny in a way. But they should not be dismayed with it because such plotline or idea has been floated before for “Jurassic World” after rumors came out that Steven Spielberg had allegedly approved a script written originally for “Jurassic Park 4” which did not materialize.

Meanwhile, the character of Bryce Dallas Howard in “Jurassic World” has been the butt of most jokes about the movie particularly because Claire was on high heels while being chased by dinosaurs, particularly the velociraptor.

The actress has apparently heard all the jokes and seen all the memes online. Instead of being piqued, however, she loved most of them because the fans were actually right in pointing out the absurdity in Claire in “Jurassic World.”

So when she was announced to be part of “Jurassic World 2,” Bryce said she is hoping that her character would leave the high-heeled shoes at home.
