While Chris Patt and Bryce Dallas Howard are confirmed to reprise their roles as Owen and Claire, respectively, there are also rumors saying that actors Toby Jones and Rafe Spall will be joining “Jurassic World 2.” But as to how their characters or roles will be integrated into the mix has yet to be identified.
J.A.Bayona initially revealed that the story of “Jurassic World 2” will be darker and scarier but it would typically highlight the crux of animal rights and how are they being treated.
The “A Monster Calls” director also added that “Jurassic World 2” will serve as the intertwined story of both new and old “Jurassic Park” films where fans could get nostalgia from but will have some kind of excitement as to how the latest sequel will shape up.
While this could also mean that the characters from the old “Jurassic Park” film trilogy will eventually appear in “Jurassic World 2” like Dr. Alan Grant, played by Sam Neill, and Dr. Ian Malcolm, played by Jeff Goldblum, fans could surely welcome a big reunion to connect the first trilogy with the second.
“Jurassic World 2” is set to be released in worldwide cinemas on June 22, 2018.
