Jurassic World 2 Rumors Start Coming In, Possible Hints about New Location!

The goal of “Jurassic World” was to breathe some new life into the franchise after it had gone downhill in its popularity a bit, and it managed to accomplish that with great success. People were very positive about the way the film turned out and what it brought to the table, and it was clear that many film fans still have a lot of appetite for the iconic dinosaur franchise. And now, after some time has passed, there are already talks about a sequel coming up and fans are trying to figure out what the producers are planning for them.

Of course, we don’t expect to hear any official information about the film for some time, as it’s probably too early for that right now and the production is likely in an early stage. That doesn’t mean that the producers aren’t already making plans though, and in fact it’s very likely that they have some solid ideas on the table at this point and they know what direction they want to take the film in.

There are already rumors about certain details about “Jurassic World 2” going around, although of course fans should take everything with a grain of salt and remember that it’s far too early for any reasonable speculation at the moment. Most of the rumors are talking about the setting of the film, and there is one in particular that has been repeated multiple times – that the film could be set in Costa Rica, or at least feature scenes from there to some extent.

These rumors seem to be mostly based on what we already saw in the previous film, as Dr. Wu seemed to be headed exactly for Costa Rica when we last saw the character. Of course, that doesn’t necessarily have to mean anything, and it’s entirely possible that the writers could change the story between the two films and show the doctor in another setting. On the other hand, B. D. Wong, who plays the character, gave some teasers that we might see him putting new technology to use in order to bring forward new dinosaurs.

Could we see new species in the new film? Or even something more interesting that mixes dinosaurs with technology? It’s entirely possible that the producers could try to push the story in a more exciting direction and explore new concepts that change the original dinosaurs that we were familiar with, but of course they would also have to be careful not to take any serious risks. After all, one wrong move could spell disaster for the franchise if fans don’t take the changes very well, and the producers will have to maintain a fine balance between exploring new ideas and sticking to the core concepts of the franchise that made it popular in the first place. It’s a classic problem, but it’s one that pretty much every major studio has had to go through at some point.

There are some major changes coming to the franchise with this next installment in any case, such as the absence of Colin Trevorrow from the director’s seat. Trevorrow is still attached to the production, according to reports, but this time he will be in the role of a producer, along with Steven Spielberg and Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall will be contributing as well, and we don’t know any other details about the people who will be running the production – but we expect that this information will start coming out in some time.
