Jurassic World 2 Looking to Cast a Young Girl Named Lucy Who Shall Have a Significant Role in the Film, More Details!

According to the Universal Pictures representative, the development of the sequel to “Jurassic World” has not even reached a point where a budget can be finalized.

This means that the budget could actually be over $260 million as revealed by JA Bayona or significantly less.

The $150 million budget of “Jurassic World” was well worth it as the movie went on to become the fourth highest-grossing film of all-time with its $1.67 billion earnings at the box-office.

Some critics believe that it is unlikely that a budget of $260 million will be the case for “Jurassic World 2” since that would mean an out-of-this-world set-up and far numerous CGIs that were already used in the first film.

There is no detail of the plot for “Jurassic World 2” but if what transpired during the first movie after the Indominus rex went berserk, an open-to-the-public theme park storyline seems out of the question already.

But “Jurassic World” director Colin Trevorrow did say that the second of the planned “Jurassic World” trilogy may focus on the spread of the dinosaur-creation technology. The notion seems plausible since Dr. Henry Wu, played by B.D. Wong, was able to escape Isla Nublar, bringing along with him several dinosaur embryos, one of which was used to create the genetically-engineered Indominus rex.
